Taydey A-Line Pleated Vintage Skirts for Women

I recently bought this skirt because I loved the print and I was hoping this skirts shape would make my body look more hourglass (I have an apple shaped body; my weight is mostly in my midsection). Surprisingly this skirt did a great job at concealing my huge tummy!Now one thing I HATE about being apple shaped is that any bottoms I wear must be above the hips (because I lack big hips) and if it is above the hips the waist band rolls. Thankfully this skirts waistband did not roll AT all and I went to school, work and a walk in the park afterwards. It helped create that hourglass shape without cinching my waist in so much it emphasizes my chub.The pattern came out gorgeous! Theres also two buttons at the top of the zipper which I think is great depending on how tight you want the waistband. The fabric is thinner than I expected. It does feel a bit starchy at first but it was super comfortable. The length was adequate for being a short gal (5'1) and it fit just like I had hoped.Heres my measurements to help assist yall. Size 14 pants, 5'1, 187lbs, and apple shaped!

Taydey Women Flare Midi Skirt Vintage Floral Skirt Size 2XLI bought this skirt rather apprehensively; I have a hard time finding clothes in-store that actually fit me and look well on me, so imagine an item that I can't try on before buying! I poured over the reviews and scoured the pictures to see who somewhat matched my body type and to see what size they bought. I also consulted the size chart provided by Taydey Fashion.When I measure my waist it is approximately 38/39in and the XXL is 38.5, so I crossed my fingers and hoped I didn't measure wrong. :P When it arrived, I tried it on and it was PERFECT. Okay, maybe it was a teeny bit loose, but I decided with a belt it would be alright. It was then that I realized it had a button on the side to make it a bit smaller at the waist. *angels sing* Love it!!The waistband has a thick elastic which really helps hold the waistband up, so it doesn't curl when you sit. It also hugs the waist so there's not much slipping, in my opinion. As to length, I'm about 5'3" and the skirt reaches a bit below the knees when I wear heels. It falls a little lower when I wear it with flats but still looks great! I've worn it with a crinoline and without, looks awesome either way.I ended up buying a second skirt from Taydey, and totally plan to add more to my closet whenever possible. I really hope, and wish, and pray that Taydey Fashion adds more pattern/color choices to these same measurements. That way I'll know they will fit perfectly and I can order without all the anxiety of wondering as I wait for delivery. :P

This skirt is very cute. I normally wear a 10 or 12 for pants, lately more 12 than 10. I bought a large, and I love the way it fits. There is elastic in the waist and two buttons for a snug fit. The material is cotton, which is nice for the summer. Bonus...pockets! Just my style.

I wear a size 20/22 and teeter between a 2x and 3x depending on the brand. I bought this skirt in a 3x and it fits great! The waist band is elastic and has tons of give so probably could've gone down a size but I like a loose fit so I can tuck in a blouse. The print is exactly as it looks in the photo which is always a nice surprise. I love that it has a bit of lift and the fabric is great quality. I'm planning to get another color!

So glad this turned out as nice as it did. It's about the same weight/material as a thick linen tablecloth. Perfect for work. I liked the two buttons in the back to tighten just a bit more. Im 124lbs and 5'8"

Love this skirt. I've been searching for a skirt of goid quality and with this shape, but also a skirt that was flattering to a woman with big hips, but and thighs. I am 4ft 10in usually wear a size 8-10 in pants (hips 46in. waist is 34in.) so I ordered an (XL) in case it ran small. After trying the skirt on, I was beyond pleased with how flattering it was, I could have gone smaller seeing as I can put the skirt on without unzipping it, but I love how it looks on me so no big deal. Hope this post helps the skeptics like me when ordering online.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SKIRT!!! I get so many compliments and the pockets are my favorite!!!! My 3 yr. old nephew tells me I look like a princess every time I wear it! It's so cute, comfy and feminine. My husband jokes that it resembles a tablecloth, but princess trumps table cloth so I'm happy! Thank you!

Just arrived today and I love it!! I'm 5'4 - 22/24 so I ordered the 3X, its a good fit with the elastic waistband. And floral print is beautiful, just like the pictures. Great deal for $19
