Chef's Cut Original Biltong Beef, 1.7 oz (Pack of 4)

Takes like the homemade Biltong that my friend from South Africa makes.I was recently introduced to Biltong by a friend from SA, and I loved it. It is soooooooo much better than beef jerky.I tried other Biltongs on the market (Stryve) and I didnt like them. They were dry and over priced.Chef’s cut is tender like Biltong should be, and it costs less than Stryve. I will keep buying this brand until my South African friend starts making his own again!

Excellent taste and texture. High protein and no sugar. This is a great snack!

The beef was incredibly tender and the nutrition is amazing (26g protein, 2g fat, 1g carbs). The spice blend used, however, kind of tasted like feet. At least to me it did, idk maybe you’ll like it. I’m not huge on mushrooms and there’s mushroom powder in it so maybe that’s it. Who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I used this to stay on keto when I was on a short road trip and would have limited access to cooking facilities. I thought, in comparison to some other keto-friendly brands, that it was decent. It is my second favorite after the Tillamook brand (of the ones I’ve tried). It is more chewy/soft, and my bags seemed to be smaller pieces, it was sort of chopped it seemed like. Maybe for ease of eating.

I opened a bag, thought it didn't taste right, look closer at the bag, best by date is 3/3/22. I received 9/30/22. Amazon will not refund or replace.

First time trying this from someone who gave me a sample. Absolutely delicious and may be the best i ever tasted.

This is probably the best South African biltong I have found. I didn’t try the spicy but the plain one is excellent!
