Work well
This is my second year in a row using these fly traps. They work very well if you hang them low to the ground, like 8 inches from the ground is what we believe the optimal height is. We also tend to keep whatever we are using in the bowl, on the wet side, that seems to attract the flies better.Within one hour of putting these up this year, we had quite a bit of flies already in them. People often ask about emptying them out and reusing them from year to year, but for us that is an incredibly gross and stinky job and since they are fairly cost effective, we just buy new. The hole you would have to dump the flies through is a tiny big bigger than a quarter. It’s pretty gross so just buy new ones and hang them low to the ground. We’ve used everything from shrimp to eggs to cow manure to bunny pellets.

Doesn't work at all
We purchased these to help in our coop. I put in bait to attract the flies, like it said, and we've caught nothing. The flies are multiplying like crazy, and the coop is still full of them. Absolute waste of money. I hope we can get our money back.

Great for our chicken run
Just put this one in yesterday and already a bunch of flies trapped this morning. I mix a little chicken poop with water as the bait and the flys go nuts. Chickens can then eat up the flies for a nutritious snack! A win win for sure

No directions.
Pretty easy to figure out, but doesn't work as great as all the videos show

Does not work
We have a fly problem where I live and bought these. It probably captured one single fly. It does not work. I bought a plastic bottle with a nozzle that has a similar concept, and it works much better than this

Easy to assemble
They do catch some flies, but not as many as expected. I believe the bowl where food is placed to attract the flies is too far away from the upper netting, allowing the flies to come out the same way they went in. All flies do not fly straight up into the cone. Product is well made and easy to assemble and fill with food.

Works well
These work really well. The only issue is that they are lightweight and blow around easily in the wind. I put some meat scraps and a little water in the bowl to attract flies, but I've learned to put some rocks in there also for weight.

Go away green
Brought this trap because of the color (go away green) and it's simplicity. I was very disappointed when hung, with so many flies surrounding it for well over a week - not 1 single fly made it into the stinky trap 😔
