L'oreal Hip Studio Secrets Professional Metallic Duos, Gunmetal, 0.08-Ounce (Pack of 5)

These are one of the greatest eye shadow duos available on the market. I'm not a pro, but I've been a "make-up enthusiast" since I was 14 yo, so I've used a lot of brands and colors in 20 years....I just LOVE the intensity of the pigments, the consistency, the way it glides on your lids and how it stays put for long hours.Couple of brush strokes and it's nice and done, I don't have to keep adding more layers...until it feels like flour on your eyelids.I'm a white blonde, but I'm not afraid to use high intensity pigments. I know HIP was designed mainly for dark skinned women, but it works for me just as great. (Besides, the HIP black eyeliner is the blackest, smoothest eyeliner EVER- it's my secret weapon! I refuse to use anything else)I have about 10 of these and I couldnt be happier. It's a lot of product in them and they're gonna last me a looong time.I'd highly recommend, for any skin tone

Got the L'oreal HIP E/S in Electrified & I'm rly impressed w/ it! Awesome quality. It's true to color, esp on diff skintones. Wasn't sure if it was going to be pigmented but it is! I was surprised at how much product it brings -- so it's a great value. Con: A little bit of fallout as with any shimmery e/s but i would say the pros far outweigh the con. The colors in this duo are unique in that u don't see them show up in palettes. The 2 colors compliment each other beautifully and don't look over the top. I'd def recommend for ppl w/ different skintones.

I just bought this today in the Charged duo pack and I love it! I am black with fairly dark skin (think somewhere between milk and dark chocolate, but closer to milk). I have been looking for an eyeshadow that 1. shows up on my skin and 2. lasts for a while. I bought this and I am excited to say that it does just that.The gold and rust color are pretty vibrant and show up wonderfully. I have pretty oily eyelids so I usually put a coat of eye primer on first and it lasts for a while.I definitely recommend this to girls with darker skin looking for colors with some oomf and staying power.

So I have never bothered looking at these in stores before since I'm usually put off by the fact that half of the cosmetics in drugstores area always open and have swatch marks, finger holes, broken, you name it. I decide to order this on Amazon in Gunmetal and when it arrived I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't as vibrant as it appears online...Well I gave it a try anyway and I'm still happy with it. The green shows up better if you use a white base, consistency is good for the price, easy to apply, and blend. Color lasts all day on oily lids only if you know how to prime correctly!!!Overall I'm really happy with the outcome!

I've been buying this mostly for the darker shade, although I use the pink too; the darker shade runs out faster and I'm left with a lot of disks with pink eyeshadow - wish they sold this color separately. This is the perfect color combo for my Pacific Islander skin tone. It slides on easily with the finger tips and lasts all day. I love this color combo so much, I buy 2 to 4 at a time (I'm hoping they never discontinue this shadow... I can no longer find it in stores.)

The colors are terrible and not as pictured! They're very dark so if you're looking for something subtle, stay away from this.

I have a hard time finding this color scheme in stores so I've now found a way to stock up on in in case it's discontinued. I LOVE the left-hand side, it's a light tan with an awesome metallic sheen that really shows up great. I don't use the right hand side as often but it's a great accent color for the crease of your eyelids. The eyeshadow applies evenly and with good coverage, you don't have to use a lot to get the effect and the color.

I saw this shadow on a beauty bloggers chanel. Rather than search store to store i hopped on amazon and ordered it. Its a great quality long wearing shadow. I get a ton of compliments every time I wear it. It stands up to my oily eye lids well..however i do wear a primer. I wear this often..especially on date nights with a wispie false lash. Great combo.

Un super belle effet qur les peaux noires. Il tient toute la journée moi qui ait la peau grasse et qui perd toutes traces de maquillage au bout de 2 ou 3 heures après application il est vraiment top.

Vu le prix je ne m'attendais pas à un miracle, mais le boitier est cheap, les ombres quelconques... pas indispensable

I love the colors of this eyeshadow duo. My eyes are hazel, and the lighter color really brings out the green in them. The texture of this eyeshadow, though, isn't great and doesn't go on too smoothly. But, otherwise, it's a really good shadow for the money.
