Great little sleep aid
I live on a busy road, but it is sporadic at night, which can be a problem for me when trying to get to sleep. Having had a fan on all night while I slept, during the warmer months, I found that I wasn't going to sleep as easily without the fan on, since it has cooled down. It was also harder to get back to sleep, if I woke up in the night. So it was off to Amazon to look for a white noise machine. I wanted something that had a fan noise, and after much searching, I decided on this one. This seemed simple to use, and has a variety of white noise choices that are changed by turning the dial on top, along with the option to have it on for a pre-set time or continuously and there is also volume control. It came the next day on Prime, while my grandson was here. He helped open it andwas VERY impressed with it (he's 2.5 yo). I used it that night, and each night since, and I can honestly say that it is amazing and I have not slept so well in a long time! And it turns out that my favourite is the rain and thunder - there is also a night time (with crickets and wind), surf/seaside, fan, blow dryer, and the "white noise". And as bonus, the sound quality is remarkably good, especially considering the price. I can highly recommend it.07/2020 EDIT: I now no longer have this. The aforementioned grandson loves my "special machine" so much, that he now has it and uses it nightly. With a new baby in the house, this has really helped with his sleep.

Does what it says
Great little machine, easy to use and set up, and looks good on the shelf. We only use the one noise as our son likes just simple white noise when he sleeps, but the other sounds are good too. Only thing I would say that's a little annoying is if you unplug it, when you turn it back on its at full volume and you have to turn it right down again, but that happens so infrequently that it's really not a big deal.

I wouldn’t specifically recommend this machine, but I’m perfectly happy with it
I bought this for my baby. There are six settings, all of which are perfectly pleasant to listen to. It seems to get her off to sleep more quickly than just feeding alone, even if she’s quite fidgety at nap time. I like the fact that it can be plugged in rather than just draining battery after battery, although you do need to buy a USB adapter plug to plug the cable into. It’s nice and small and I like the design, it looks to be of good quality. The timers on it are useful in theory. However, you can’t effectively fade the sound out. If I reduce the volume during baby’s nap, I turn it down one step at a time every thirty seconds or so, but there comes a point where it’s still fairly loud, but won’t go any lower so I have to just switch it off completely and risk waking her up. That said, she hasn’t actually woken because of that yet!I suppose compared to other white noise machines this is at the cheaper end of the scale, and maybe a fade function is something you pay a little bit more for.So overall, if someone was looking to buy a white noise machine, I wouldn’t specifically recommend this one; there’s nothing about it that is remarkable. That said, if they wanted to keep the costs down and just wanted something simple, I think it’s absolutely fine and I wouldn’t advise them against it.

Great little machine
I liked how small it is a cube that can sit on a bedside table. I use it with the lead that comes with it, but you do need a 3 pin plug to attached it with, which does not come with the unit. Luckily I had a spare Samsung plug not being used. Notice of this would have been a help, although it also takes batteries.I have uded it for a week now and have managed to drift off to sleep only using the 15 minute timer. Would recommend this little unit if anyone is finding it hard to drift of to sleep.

A great option if you need continuous sound all night
Really glad I got this for my 11 month old. We had a second hand My Hummy which was absolutely useless. The buttons on it are super loud (enough to disturb your baby) and the batteries drain SO quickly and it gets very temperamental so you can’t reply on it. So I looked for one with a mains plug. This has good reviews and a reasonable price with free delivery, (I didn’t want to spend more money after buying the my hummy but this will save me loads in batteries.. and loads of messing around!) It has several different sounds, is reliable and good volume control. You can leave on all night which is in particular what I needed. Then it also has an auto timer as well. The buttons are quiet so if you want to adjust it after your baby is already asleep it won’t disturb them.A lot of the baby focused white noise machines won’t go on continuously, and will only do auto timer after 30 mins or 1 hour. But this doesn’t make any sense as a babies sleep cycle is often 30 or 40 minutes and they need help to go from one cycle to the next- if they fall asleep with the white noise on and then it’s off when they stir after 30-40 minutes, they will wake! So something to think about if you’re doing your research.

Breaks easily from USB point on machine. Had 2 and same issue - returned
I bought this item back I December and worked fine, number of sounds, volume good and goes loud. Really annoying, if you plug this machine into a new plug it doesn't remember the setting for volume and instantly is on the loudest setting when you turn it on which is ridiculous until you quickly turn it down. The USB point om the machine has moved so when it's plugged in it doesn't work. It is battery powered which is good but as my daughter has it on all night it drains batteries after 1 night. I returned the item got a refund and bought another which the price had gone from £14-£23 which was frustrating. I bought the item in Feb and today the same issue happened and its broken again from the USB point. Wouldn't bother wasting money on this. I've ordered a completely different box elsewhere now. Not convenient when my baby uses thus for every nap and overnight

Good but broken
I’d normally give 5 stars but took 1 star for each broken device. Our previous one lasted about 1.5 years and broken suddenly. So we ordered a new one. But this one is broken only after 2 weeks suddenly. Thankfully babies can sleep now without it. Will return and ask for a replacement
