I was a little disappointed because the material was real cheap looking. I had a pair just like these but My old pair was made with much better quality material. I had to return this item.

I was pleased to find this boot almost exactly as expected, based off the information provided and the reviews I read. Some people find the fitting of the boot too small or large, but I found it fit true to size (I wear an women's 8) considering I will always be wearing socks.These boots were comfortable, as well - I think the round toe leaves a little more room for the toes.My only possible let down, and probably a matter of being picky (wearing them at my wedding), is that the boot colors were slightly different than what I saw on the page. In some photos the teal color seemed darker (a traditional teal) and at other times the teal was nearing a green tone. Having seen majority of the photos show a teal color, I assumed teal was probably the color and the green was due to lighting. After receiving the shoes, I believe the boots are truer to a green tone. This also goes for the brown/tan overall color of the boot. In majority of the photos the boots looked more like a brown, but when I got them they seemed lighter in color, like a tan.I believe the item is very much worth purchasing and I still find them perfect for my wedding (teal is my accent color), just be aware the colors might be slightly different than as seen in the photos.

I just love Very Volatile cowgirl boots. This is my 4th pair, and I am obsessed with them all. I usually wear an 8 in sneakers and an 8 1/2 in heels. I got these in an 8 and they fit perfectly. I like my boots a little snug. I wear them around with heavy socks until they are broken in, and then I switch to thin socks. Works for me. They are totally comfortable. I just wore these out shopping with a pair of shorts and people stopped me all over the place to compliment my boots. Oh, I got the beige with light blue inserts. They are really pretty, better than I thought they would be. I highly recommend these boots. You can't beat them for the price!This is an update, for the off white color. This is my second pair of Rio Grande boots. I was puzzled by the color, which doesn't show up well in the pic. I submitted a question about it, and the person answered that they are tan with a slight pink tinge. Mine are not tan, and have no pink at all. They are very light beige (off white), with very light lime green inserts and stitching! I like them. They are pretty, just didn't know what to expect. Hope this helps somebody!

They are very pretty, but in every angle, the boot appears to have an upper section that is a lighter shade of tan than the foot of the boot -- it's the *exact* same tan throughout. Also, I was looking for a dark turquoise and instead I got green. Now, I have exceptional eyesight, so I assure you it's not me. My phone is less than a year old -- from which I ordered the boots and damn near everything else I buy -- so it's not my technology, either.Just be warned that the Rio Grande isn't quite as it appears on your screen.It's also just a little snug in the width. I bought a nine when I normally where an 8.5, knowing I'll be standing in them a while, and my feet will swell a bit. A nine with no socks still is a touch snug at the widest part of my foot (no, I don't wear WW shoes).

Not the highest quality. And the heel especially shows that. But it’s really a darling boot that we will wear with our fancier western outfits. I am so glad I bought them!

I get compliments on these every time I wear them! I'm extra happy that I was able to find cute boots at a great price that align with my vegan morals. Straight out of the box they are comfortable. I usually wear an 8 1/2 or 9, depending on the brand/type of shoe and I ordered a 9; great fit! Not snug, not loose. The only part that I think requires a "break in" period is the top part, but not because it's uncomfortable or anything, it's just stiff and doesn't hug my calf like my other boots, but I'm not bothered by it. I'm sure as I wear them, they'll form themselves.

These boots are much better than I expected. I love, love, love them! Did I mention that I love them? As everyone already said, they are a lighter tan that turns darker with handling and wearing. They are very comfortable and super cute. I am an 8 1/2 and I got a 9. The 9 is very comfortable but I probably could have gotten by with the 8 1/2. (I went up in size to wear socks.) I was concerned about the heel height, but it is very comfortable.This is a wide calf look and cute with jeans. I have slim calves, so it is very oversized on me. Still, very feminine. No, they are not real cowgirl boots made for working the ranch. Please don't compare them to hand tooled leather western boots and you will be very satisfied. The amazon price I paid is $36 less than another popular place I buy shoes from. Can't beat that.

Bought as a birthday gift for my niece in her 20s, and loved it as soon as received. Wish I could have one for myself, but can't wear this heel height. Anyway, my niece lives in another state, and she called me as soon as she got it to say she absolutely loved it as much as I hoped she would. She says it fits true to her size, 7B, and that it's comfortable. Bottom line, it's a great, unique looking boot. Looks like it costs twice the price at least. Don't hesitate to buy.
