Lori Holt - Seams So Easy! - Seam Guide (Denim)

I ordered 4 of these—one for me and the others for my sisters. They are a great guide and the seams don’t flip when sewing. Love them.

Works well on my machine. The glue dots that came with it were useless so I just use painter tape on the corners. You have to remove to change bobbin.

Great for 1/2 square triangles . No more markings on fabric. Also great for that 1/4 in sewing. What was I holding back for.

Had to seek out help how to actually use it.

This does not work as well as I had hoped. Priced high for what it is and what it’s made out of. But then again, it needed to be thin to function properly. I do think for the price it should have more measurement markings than 1/4 inch. But I knew that going in. I was just looking for something with measurement markings to use on my antique featherweight 221. But I will use it for now. But keep looking for something better. It’s very slippery as well. Making some types of fabric slide around a bit more To me. It’s very limited to quilting only pretty much in its sewing application. Garments have a different size seem. Not 1/4 inch. So this must have been created only for block piecing in the quilt world. Which I do. But. For price of a piece of plastic basically, with some numbers and lines printed on it, I just did not find it that helpful for me. As I said, I will keep using it until I find a better solution.

I taped this down on my sewing machine. It helps with accuracy in sewing seams.

I’ve tried a few different ways to cut my time in half to make half square triangles .. let’s face it, marking is a time guzzler and the paper gets a bit pricey … not a fan of the ‘tape’. I can’t get it right on my sewing machine.Decided to give this a try and bam!It works fabulously for me!Only downside, you’ll need to pick up a roll of Washi tape to tape down the sides. They only give you a lil bit and after moving it to change your bobbin, you’ll need something else.

I wish I could give 10 stars for this quilting product! This has revolutionized my sewing. It needs to be taped to the sewing bed but it makes sewing 1/4 inch seams effortless. Then you add it's cuteness value and you got a great deal!

I have not used yet but have watched on utube it looks to be a very good piece of equipment for my quilting I cannot wait to use it .

The self adhesive is not reusable so when you take it off the machine you have to tape it on for future use
