Mother Load (The Shaken Series, 4)

I was excited to read the book as soon as I received it. I believe I read it from cover to cover in less than a week. I don’t often reread books I’ve already read but this one is one I’d most likely be going back to again just to refresh my memory.

Once again KG MacGregor has delivered, pun intended, another awesome book.So love how she wrote the multitude of emotions that the characters, both adults and children, experience in this story.Really had me on the edge of my seat at times.

I loved this book because it fit in with the other three books and made the whole series complete. This writer is so great at keeping you hooked to each chapter that you can't wait to read the next chapters!!

I honestly feel like reviewing one or each of the books in the Shaken series is pointless. I think these books, although stand-alones, are best enjoyed when read one after the other, which is why I've written my review on Motherload. I can't say enough about this series. What a joy! For once, no guns, no bad guy, no murder...just real life situations. The chemistry between Anna and Lilly is impeccable. I have no words to describe how much I enjoyed their ups and downs.KG, I speak for many when I say it would make our year if you come out with a book 5. Wonderful, wonderful work. Thank you for this!

Mother Load was a decent read, but compared to her other books it lacked the quality of story telling that MacGregor has demonstrated in her other books which I have read. There is little to add.

I absolutely love the shaken series. This fourth chapter did not disappoint. I love the relationship between the characters and I hope there will be a book 5 to catch up on the lives of the wonderful characters and their children

I just finished all four books in the Shaken series. I loved them all. Very down to earth look at how two mature women in a committed relationship handle life's trials and triumphs. Loved all four books.

The whole series it very well written, I had to read them back to back, couldn't have enough of Anna and Lily Kaklis. I only wish the Author were to add more Books to the series. They're perfect!

Lily and Anna Kaklis have settled down in domesticated bliss with five year old Andy, Lily's nephew. Now they want to expand their family and have a baby of their own. So Lily is having IVF treatment. Lily is very busy at work and is involved in a murder trial. Anna is trying desperately to save her car dealerships from going under. It is a very stressful time for both women without the added burden of IVF. We follow the highs and lows of their every day family life in this delightful story with characters we've come to love over the years. Once again KG has written a wonderful book with her usual touch of humour.

Book Four lived up to the rest of the series. it followed the story line of the previous 3 books logically, which is not always the case in a series.This is a wonderful series from KG MacGregor. I have yet to read a book of hers that I have not enjoyed.My only problem with book 4 is that at present it is the last of the series-I want it to go on and on and on!Gail+

Absolutely loved every book in this series!!! Read all books over the weekend, just could not put it down!! Loved the characters!! The struggles faced and the love shared made this series an amazing read!!
