Spike/OOZY Pedal Bushing Kit

Nice 10 minute job to breathe some new life into 100 dollar pedals. You'll need a good 10mm box wrench because the nut is soft and easy to round and a 8mm hex. I didn't even need to take the pedals off the bike

I've had my spikes since 2014 and they've been good to me. Started getting a squeak and a bit of play recently so ordered these plus a set of bearings. It turns out you need a special puller to get the bearings out so I didn't end up using them (yet) but there was no detectable play in the bearings anyway. I replaced the bushings, seals, and tiny washers with those in this kit and the play is gone and the squeak is gone.

Updated review: We replaced the bearings along with this bushing kit. The pedals where tight and worked well, for about 4 months. Granted we ride a fair amount and it rains here in the PNW but... Some of our other pedals will last for years between rebuild, 3-4 months just doesnt seem long enough. Also keep in mind, I don't know if these bushings and orings were the point of failure or if it was just the bearing its self so, these parts might be a 5 starOriginal review (shortly after installing) Good value, this bushing kit went well with the bearing kit to get our spank oozy pedals running smooth again.This bushing kit was easy to install and made a big improvement. Note that if you are doing the bearings, you may need a puller/extractor to get them out.
