Lifted the engine as intended. Comes with hardware as well if you need it but I just used the existing hardware

Thick steel makes the plate very sturdy, welds and powder coat finish is very nice. The bolts that come with it were a little short to lift my ls with the valley cover plate still on it but I doubt they intended you to leave it on when lifting.

I built one from scratch years ago similar to this one and accidentally let it go on an engine. I do alot of swaps, which means unbolt carb, lift out engine, drop in lsx engine. If I'm working on a carbureted engine and have the carb off I'll put this on to keep debris out of the intake, saves having to deal with adhesive from masking or duck tapes. Also with some thick washers ( gen3: not sure on gen4 with DOD ) it can be put on top of the factory valley cover and never have to mess with knock sensors, which can be a nightmare if rotted/rusted in place.

This product is great. Heavy weight. Designed and built to last. The bolts to attach it are supplied. They are stored threaded into the bracket. Great thinking. It is a coated finish. This is a quality tool and I am happy I bought it.

Once ready to remove engine, bolted right up and removed engine with ease!!! Used the Allen head bolts it came with, recommend this tool👍👍

Very universal good fit when you have as many different engines as we do its a good thing to have around. Have yet to find an engine it doesn't work with
