Excellent unit
The initial output on this compressor is impressive, the size is compact and based on the reviews here on amazon, I would recommend this air compressor highly. After just a couple of uses, it performs much better than the cheap one I used to use. Sound is fairly quiet ( as far as air compressors go (just make sure you keep extra compressor oil handy for when it runs low). Good quality components, I believe this one will last for years.

Good compressor for portable air tools.
This compressor is reasonably quiet. It powers the nail guns I use it with well and it is easy to carry around. It seems very well made and with reasonable care should work well for many years.

Don't drag these around you will loose the feet.
This is my favorite model. Smaller one always gets stored wrong by workers and looses the oil. Sometimes in the truck. This one doesn't flip easy. Still light enough. Not light but manageable. These run for years with massive abuse. Probably lolger if you did some maintenance. The pumps on this model are good. Some models use pumps from China.

Great American made Air Compressor real customer service!
This little guy rocks. I received one with a bad gauge called the number on the manual got a human in about 20 seconds. They offered to send the part overnight but I asked if they had an authorized parts center around where I live the location closest to me did not but one five miles away did. I called at 10am picked up my part by 11:30am and was back on track by 11:45am. What a company what service!

Rolair motor bolts
I had this compressor for about 3 weeks before I started having problems with the bolts on the motor it vibrated the the bolts loose and they stripped out now the compressor barely works what can you do to help me with this problem

great unit, but weak switch lever
I purchased this compressor in October 2014. The compressor has worked perfectly until recently when the on/off switch fatigued and snapped off. I see options to replace the entire pressure switch, but no option to replace the small lever only. This is a high quality unit that should have a more robust switch. Otherwise very happy and would rate five stars.

Now a ROLAIR snob
Thirty years, an Emglo devotee. No more! I'm now a Rolair snob. Nothing else out there better IMHO. It's strong, light, faster, quieter, simpler. Wish I had discovered long time ago. Weren't readily available here and were substantially more expensive (and now I know they would have been, and are, worth it). Thank goodness for Amazon! This compressor almost makes me want to come out of retirement and resume contracting.
