Easy & straight forward to use . No problem to set up or operate .

Portable DVD players are known to have trouble reading discs, declining battery capacity, poor audio, and cheap construction. This one appears to be one of the better values I've seen. The picture quality rivals an LCD television; it is clear and detailed with accurate color saturation. The built in speakers are able to produce considerably more volume than most portable players. As is often the case, they are lacking in bass response, but will provide a clear midrange that is adequate for its purpose. What impresses me most is how quiet this is. It was able to read domestic and foreign DVDs as advertised with an uncommonly smooth transport. It is also versatile, with inputs for SD cards, flash drives, and A/V cables. The case and controls are plastic. However a key moving part, the swivel connector between the base and screen, is metal and feels substantial. I haven't pushed the battery to its limits, but the 4 hour time listed on Amazon is reported as 2 hours in the manual. Either way this is a very capable machine and a strong value for the money.

I literally used this DVD player once. The next time it didn't work. Cheaply made. Piece of junk.

The screen is nice and large. There are several operational buttons, which makes it easier to use, since each one doesn't have multiple sections under it. Product has good volume also. Made a very nice gift for my family member that is in rehab and missed watching her favorite movies.

Just received my Sandoo portable DVD player, we are moving 1,000 miles away and purchased it so the kids can watch movies while we travel. I looked at a bunch of different ones but this one had everything I was looking for in a simple black color and was the best price. It has a large 15.6 inch screen and it swivels easily. My kids were like "WOW!" When we opened it, for a portable dvd player the screen is a great size, would work great in a camper as well. The reviews seemed good and the price was right so far I love it and hope it holds up for us! I would definitely recommend this company and would purchase from them again!

Bigger than I thought but the picture & screen quality was perfect. I bought this for work and so far we have been asked by several patients of where we got this from. The price was very reasonable for the size we got and the quality. Sound quality is ok but as long as you have quality headphones it should not be a problem.

My son thoroughly enjoys this DVD player. I wish I could take a 1/2 star away simply because of how hard the remote's tiny button are to push, but my son seems to have figured it out. We're about 6 months into ownership and it's successfully been used daily in my house!

So far, so good, dvd in and playing. Good picture quality.Ordered the unit in October/November and just got around to setting it up today, January 10th. Set-up was surprisingly easy, pretty much plug in and play. Remote came with batteries which makes me think the unit had been previously returned. Remote a little clunky, slow to respond, changed the batteries and it seems to be working.Looking forward to playing some of the international tapes that have been sitting the beginning of covid last spring. I ordered them, received the wrong region and didn't find out about international players until this Fall. Whoppee!!!

The unit is well made, light and is plug and play. As described, it plays multi region DVDs and reads disks well. Playback quality of audio cds is good considering this type of player will not represent optimum audio performance if you’re a hi fi buff. Other than critical listening, the unit serves this purpose well.As for durability, I’m unable to comment further, having not owned the unit for a longer period of many months.

Super little unit to add to my 40" Roku TV; seems like it's made for it. Takes minimal space; easy to use, good remote. I have my Roku connected to my surround system via optical out plug; the DVD player audio sends out to that and sounds great! Biggest 'pro' - this Sandoo unit is a great price!

So far, this has been a pretty good DVD player. Especially nice is the ability to start at the same point when the player was turned off. (avoiding to have to skip through all that FBI warning crap and menus every time)However I had to remove one star for a couple reasons. First is the idiotic sticker they put on top of the unit. Instead of a plastic sticker that comes off easily, they used a fragile paper sticker that disintegrates into a hundred pieces. I had to spend 20 minutes peeling off the little bits, then removing the gummy junk. Even doing it carefully left a few scratches on the soft plastic top case.The remote control, as others have mentioned, annoyingly doesn't always work. You have to be almost directly perpendicular to the unit for it to work. It also unintentionally controls, turns on/off many of my other Chinese-made items - including my portable heater! (why can't they use different signals?!)One thing to note that isn't in the (fairly useless) manual - if you want to change TV Display from 16:9 to 4:3, you can only do it WITHOUT a DVD in the unit. Otherwise, that option is greyed out and can't be changed.

Thank you so very much! This is an excellent quality disc/multimedia player! My old player of another brand could not play an MP3 CD without a lot of problems. However, this new Sandoo player plays it smoothly and clearly without any problems! I use this player for music and the music sounds very beautiful indeed! Fair quality 128 kbps MP3s, sound like high quality MP3s on this player!
