One cat loves it .. the other ignores it. Go figure.
Mami loves this purchase. It's smaller than expected, A nice size for small and medium cats. A large cat would be too large for the mat, but it's thin enough to not be an issue on carpeted floors. It's durable, easy to maintain, easy to clean, easy to place. Just lay it flat where you want it and use a bit of catnip if needed. The cats do the rest.As I stated in the title. We have two cats. One of them loved it. She would use it to scratch a bit (not very much). It became her second or third favorite sleeping spot. And she's the one who prefers to sleep up high! The other cat, (the primary reason for this purchase) she ignored it completely no matter who much catnip I added to it.It the end of the day, it was a purchase I and one of two cats were happy with. Unfortunately, the one who didn't care about it at all makes this a purchase I wouldn't make again. It's trial and error with our feline family members. lol

A very good product!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. My cat likes this too much. She can play for more than half an hour every day, and with it, she doesn’t go to other places to grind her claws. It’s very good and I highly recommend it to everyone.

My cat loves this!
My cat is very picky about what material she likes for her scratching pad. She loved the one I used to get her from PetSmart but they apparently stopped making it. Enter the Starryfield Cat Scratcher Mat. It took some digging to find one she would use but she absolutely loves this thing! There are feathers on rope cords attached to the bottom of the mat that stick out of two corners and the center hole. As you can see from the picture, the feathers on the outside corners didn't last long. That's not a ding on the mat, my cat just loves/hates feathers and goes nuts to get them off of her stuff. I'm really glad I was able to find this mat because it keeps her from scratching my furniture. I would definitely buy this mat again.

I'm not sure yet
I got this because my cat doesn't really care about his scratching post. So far he doesn't seem too interested in this either...at least when I'm around. He does like the feathers on it though. I am thinking I might put it on the back of my couch somehow where he tends to scratch and see if that does anything. There is nothing wrong with the mat...I think I just have a picky cat when it comes to scratching things, lol. Although I have an old bath mat that he has claimed as his own and seems to love to play around with so who knows. It is very well made though.

YES! It is working!
I have one cat that would not use the vertical scratching post, she prefers a horizontal surface and was using the carpet by the bedroom door. I bought this mat mainly for the carpet side with the hopes she would use it. It took a few weeks and at first I thought it was another wasted effort but she started using it! I was surprised the cat prefers the sisal side but I don't care as long as she is not tearing up the carpeting in the house. The only issue i have with it is the feathers are coming off but I half expected that since every feathered cat item we have seems to "molt" sooner or later.

Interesting cat scratcher mat with built in toys!
This is something I haven't seen before. Usually you see the simple cat scratcher mats or wedges, but it's a cool feature to have built in feather and bell toys for added excitement. I am also buying one to give as a gift this Christmas. It's a good size but is also tuck-away-able when space is limited.

Waste of money
My cat had the feathers all over our family room in a couple of hours. The mat moves all over the place. My cat couldn't scratch on it unless we held it still but had bot problem getting the feathers all out and everywhere.

The hole is everything
I meant this to be on the back of my chair so the cat wouldn't scratch there. She didn't care for that - but she likes it on the floor. And if you get a toy under there, poke it through the hole, and make it hide, she goes nuts! This is her favorite game. As usual, the cat found a way to love something I thought wasn't working out.

Small playful mat
My kitten got attracted to it immediately because of the feathers but the mat looks preety small comparing to the prize
