Convenience Concepts SoHo 4 Tier Wide Bookcase, White Faux Marble

PROS:Very good engineering. Once it is all together, the shelf is quite sturdy. The glass side panels are very thick. A cambolt/lock system is used to hold it together and works well. Assembly time was about two hours, doing it by myself. There are a lot of parts but nothing was missing. If you take your time and give yourself space, you'll have little to no problems putting this together. All you need is a Phillips and a flathead screwdriver.I ordered the white/gray marble pattern. It looks awesome! Like a display in a store! I am a perfumer and using it to display all my creations. Overall, I am very satisfied with the shelf.CONS:The parts were packed in Styrofoam to keep them from damage. However, bits of it were everywhere. The most frustrating aspect of putting this shelf together was cleaning up all the Styrofoam bits. Perhaps a different kind of packing would be better. The external box was a bit beat up by the time it arrived, but fortunately none of the contents were damaged.The front edges of the shelves are coated with a gloss. I was hoping the tops of the shelves would be shiny like that too, but they're not. That's okay. It is beautiful anyway. Perhaps a suggestion for future designs.The feet/legs of the unit are the glass side panels. There is very little glass that sticks down below the bottom shelf that act as the legs/feet. I would have liked a bit more length there. When placed on carpet, like many shelves, this shelf does tend to lean back a bit. If you are placing it on a carpet, it will be best to push it firmly against a wall and/or place a firm piece of wood under the shelf to sturdy it. Otherwise, this unit probably is better on a hard floor surface rather than on a carpet.OVERALL IMPRESSION:Score: "A"Highly recommend!

I was very surprised how sturdy this piece is. The glass is heavy, not cheap plexiglass. Allow ample space to put this together. The instructions are clear, but you must pay attention to the direction of the boards and tighten the screws after other screws are placed in holes. No trouble lining up holes this way. Very pleased!

Looking really nice and Easy to assemble !

This is a nice shelving unit. Heavy enough to hold your nice display pieces. I only have two constructive comments about this unit:1. As you can see in my photo on one side of the shelf I received the drilled holes in the glads are completely off from where the screws are supposed to be placed. However the other reinforcement should be enough to keep it together.2. You will need a Phillips and flathead screwdriver for effective assembly. And wood glue if you'd like additional reinforcement. Just a heads up.

I just put this bookshelf together myself and it looks so nice! Lots of folks are saying the holes don't line up for the shelves. I ran into this myself. The holes do actually line up, if they don't you just need to rotate the glass piece around (flipping top to bottom). The holes in the glass are not evenly spaced, they are spaced to line up with the holes in the shelves so, if they aren't lining, the glass just isn't in the right direction. A few reviews where folks had the same issue almost deterred me from ordering it but i figured I'd try my luck. Then I wound up running into the same issue and had to keep trying to place the glass in different directions until everything lined up. That part can be a little frustrating but after I got them right, I was very happy with the end result. It's heavy and sturdy...and cute!

When I received my bookshelf a shelf was broken due to delivery, I messaged the seller and seemed to only receive automated messages. I requested a return/exchange but I only wanted to see if I could get a new shelf instead of replacing the whole bookshelf. But it was a shelf that could face the floor. But after 2 weeks I had received a replacement shelf from the seller. Bookshelf is extremely nice and gorgeous. 100% recommend! Worth the money!

Shelves really do look like marble. Bookcase seems very sturdy; glass sides are thick and heavy. Very well engineered and easy to put together.

I absolutely love this bookshelf. The clear sides give it an airy feel that works very well in my office. I love the faux marble look, too. I assembled it myself without too much difficulty. Like all assembled furniture, take your time to separate out all the hardware and make sure you're reading the directions clearly so you're going about things in the right order. I didn't have any trouble putting it together. It just takes a little patience.
