Bieye L10703 Dragonfly Tiffany Style Stained Glass Floor Lamp with 16 Inch Wide Complex Design Lampshade and Metal Base, Orange Blue, 65 Inch Tall

I ordered this lamp to have a light when I read. It took a bit of time to get it but no big deal.The packaging was terrible, this white styrofoam and when I took it out of it's packaging, that stuff went everywhere! It was like it was snowing in my bedroom! Plus, it adheres to anything that has static electricity. It was stuck to my skin, the carpet, my new lamp! Not good because I had to vacuum afterward and I am disabled! What a pain in the posterior!The assembly was so-so. The tubing that goes to make up the stem of the lamp is thin and cheap. Not what I expected. When I tried to assemble the light fixture to the tube, at the factory, someone cross threaded the screw that goes into the tube and the lamp head looks crooked. I am not so concerned about it as I was able to get it to be substantially affixed to the tube and straightened the lamp a bit. It looks okay from a certain view.There was one section of the glass shade that was loose, but I will adhere that back down with some super glue and it should be fine.It has a foot-operated pressure switch and not a switch as one might expect. The footswitch is attached to the cord and lays on the floor so you can step on it to turn it off and on. The lamp also has two light bulb fixtures with attached chains and that will come in handy when you want less light.The base is heavy, as it should be so that the lamp will stay in place and upright. However, the base should be larger in circumference. Although the base is heavy, the lamp head is also heavy. If the lamp had been engineered and researched a bit concerning it sitting on a padded carpet, as many of it's users will find themselves, the engineer would have found that the lamp wants to wobble a minor bit on it's base.I placed two light bulbs in the sockets and turned it on and it does look beautiful. I read some under it before I completed this review. It functions okay for me and does what I hoped for. But.... I paid too much for it as compared to the quality of the lamp.I probably should have sent it back, but being disabled, I do not want to mess with it.

Overall this lamp is fine for this price point, but don't expect particularly high quality. As others have stated, the metal sections that screw together and then into the base are not all straight. In addition, the shade and the finial don't line up particularly well with the body of the lamp, so you'll have to tweak it here and there to get things to line up visually. Also, the shade needs to come down another inch or so to cover up the bulbs, as others have noted. Would be much better product, if they would have at least assembled it first to see that things don't line up well and perhaps correct the alignment. With a bit of work these things can be over come, but I'd be hard pressed to say I would buy this again.

The metal posts didn’t screw on to each other smoothly and there was some bending involved. The lamp shade is not deep enough and you’ll inevitably be able to see the bulbs underneath if you’re sitting on a couch, which is hurtful to one’s eyes.

Gorgeous colors, wonderful craftsmanship. Very well made. A nice lamp for next to a chair. Very deep colors in the glass, which is beautiful but does not put out a lot of light. Really happy we bought it!

Overall it's nice and was relatively easy to assemble. However, the shad fastener does not tighten very well, which makes it a little wobbly.

No instructions on assembly of this beautiful lamp. I thought it would be easy but the poles did not line up even and too much cord had to be inserted in poles. Glass part was beautiful. Very disappointed as actually loved the design. I returned it. 😔

We were happy initially with the lamp, but after only two weeks, one of the two pull chains that turn the bulbs on and off snapped deep inside the switch mechanism. Since there is no way to disassemble the switch, it is impossible to repair. Very poor quality components used in these lamps.
