It took me a long time to find a quality dry dog food I can afford that names the type of meat in the first few ingredients and does not contain chicken or any type of yeast, since one of my dogs is allergic to both. My dogs eat this well and are healthy & thriving. My only complaint is that the kibble seems to crumble easily because there is always a large amount of kibble dust in the bottom 1/3 of the bag.

The packaging seduced me. It is rated as a quality dry dog food by WDJ. My dog loves it, no digestive issues. Those are the most important features.

I've been using Chicken Soup dog food for several years. It is a tad higher in price, however my dogs are healthier. They don't scratch, they have bounce when they play, and they seem more attentive. I switch flavors every so often for variety. I also supplement their food with a dental enzyme for clean teeth and a joint powder. Altogether it works for my animals

We are glad we found this dog food. Our old English bulldog loves it and her face wrinkles have never looked so good. She digested well, no more gas. We have struggled with different foods for years, not anymore!Our German Shepherd loves it too and his fur has been soft with less shedding.I commented on my friends dog that is a 12 year old black lab, that his fur is really shiny and how well and healthy he is. He recommended this dog food.

And now this dog food is pricing itself out of reach. What used to be the best deal in dog food is now just another overpriced bag… lots of options out there — too bad this one has fallen victim like the rest of the nonsense going on… incredible how everything is coming apart … oh well - enjoy the final act.

I love how this has probiotics; My labrador loved it for a while (and she loves everything, huge appetite) but then at about 2 years old started avoiding the food, postponing meals strangely, plus the vet said she is overweight. We are going to try something else lower in calories.
