UR2-CBL-CV04 Universal Remote Control

I have an old Samsung 50 inch TV and old DVR. I could not find my remote, somehow was displaced. This remote identical to what I had and I am very happy with purchase. Would recomment to anybody.

It worked immediately, no fuss no muss. Our old one just wore out, it wasn't just the batteries.

This is identical to the remote that originally came with the cable box. It fits much better in your hand and has larger buttons than the thin black one Optimum gives out today.

It's a well-designed, ergonomic device. The buttons are well-positioned and well-sized for the average human hand. The color system makes the device both intuitive and attractive. But, where's the backlighting??!! Do the engineers who make these things not realize that people watch TV at night in unlit rooms? Surely, some modest lighting would not have added much to the cost. So tired of having to turn on a lamp to change the channel.

This remote has the favorite button just where I want it. The new remote made the button smaller and moved it to a different spot and put a search button where it was. I hardly use the search feature but I do use the favorite button every day. I am glad I was able to purchase the old style.

This is a much better remote then the skinny black one that Optimum is providing.

Did anyone have a problem setting up the volume? I cannot get it to work on this remote. Thank you

Shipment came quick. Was packaged great. But the picture shows batteries and the remote came with none.
