Please, Baby, Please (Classic Board Books)

I am a grandmother and I look for books that I can read at night to my granddaughter. I purchased this book when she was seven months old. She is now 18 months old and it’s still one of her favorites. She now repeats baby baby please.The illustrations are great. The storyline is perfect and cute. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading and getting laughs out of their little one.

It is a delight to read this book to my young grandchildren. It is not too long and the pictures are excellent. The most enjoyable part of the book is when the grandchildren start saying, Please, Baby, Please.

Can’t stop laughing while reading this to my granddaughter. Good illustration and wonderful story. I normally ignore baby books by celebrities; but, this is a wonderful engaging read.

How can you not enjoy this Spike Lee classic book. I bought this book as well as Please, Puppy Please book for my child about 15 years ago. The illustration is AMAZING. The bold,soft, beautiful colors make the characters keep out of the pages. I still enjoy reading this book to my children at school as well as gifting it to loved ones.

OMG!!!! Best book ever!! Not only did this book entertain, but it was also a help meet for this single mom. I had no idea what to expect... I found out! Much obliged..

Wonder read for kids

My son loves this book. It's a wonderful book filled will a good rythmic story about a day spent with a toddler. I love the literature and kept my baby giggling through and through. My only complaint would be that the pictures are dark. For example most of the backdrops are dark lots of dark green gold and blue scenes. Although not every page was like that I just felt some scenes were too bland. They should have been a little more brighter and more contrast in the pictures. Overall we enjoy this book and believe you will too. The pictures themselves are huge! The main character is a sweet baby girl around 1-2 years old. Thank you for a well done book.

My 8 month old absolutely loves this book. When I get to the second to last page where the baby gets out of bed for a kiss, he has a HUGE smile and stares at me until the last page when he loses it completely. It is the sweetest thing. One great thing about this book is it is all things your baby can actually relate to because it's the day-to-day life of a baby (eating, park, bath, playtime, diaper, etc). Even for a tiny baby, I think they relate to each page. And the illustrations are works of art.

The media could not be loaded. I will forever be great to this book because it my daughters first attempt to reading and she read it so well. Love the silliness and words use by the author will definitely recommend for a good read

Not a good book. The words don’t flow. It’s a bad read. They really could have done better.

I got this book when my daughter was 2y.o and it seemed a bit boring. Although I found the illustrations gorgeous and the story sweet , the rhymes didn't seem to entertain her . She actually wanted to know why was baby acting so silly ! She is 4 now and has just begun reading at school and this book has come to life now. It is very easy for new readers , as the text has very easy words and the line "Please , baby, please " is perfect for her to " have a break " from the words she has to put more effort to read. She does not find the baby silly anymore , she finds it funny and can relate to the new baby arriving in the family . As a big sister , she will never let baby do all that ! :o)
