laces too short
I have bought this shoe numerous times over the years. They are as comfortable and durable as you could ask for.Unfortunately, my latest pair arrived with laces that are much too short. I basically have to wear them untied (around the house).

Excellent, Hard Wearing Shoes
This is my second pair of these workhorse shoes. The last pair lasted more than seven years of almost daily wear. I went though three sets of laces and am only getting new ones because the wear on the soles is finally reaching end of life. Excellent quality and a true to size fit for my 15D feet. The new ones look great and fit perfectly.

Great buy
My husband has had a near identical pair of Keens for at least 10 years. He kept wearing them because they were so comfortable. When I saw this pair I ordered and threw away his well loved and well worn pair. When he put the new ones on he said “Ahhh, they’re perfect!”

Good solid shoe, needs break in, insole has uncomfortable indentation
This is a pretty good shoe, close to 5 stars. Here is why I only give 4:The toe box and overall width is a bit wide and takes some getting used to. The insert has some strange indentations or outline in the shape of a foot and toes. Not sure why they have done that, since it has no purpose. But I can feel these indentations and they also take some time getting used to. It feels like your sock has a crease but its the indentation outline of the toe that is embossed into the insole. The materials are quite hard at first but after applying some leather grease and a few days of wearing the materials are broken in and have softened. The looks will not win any fashion contest, but the overall quality is very high and the shoe feels extremely sturdy.Update: After a few months I can say this shoe is extremely sturdy and becomes quite comfortable once broken in. I think this shoe will last a long time.

Attention Keen!
You know the saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it?" The Keen Austin design seems to be a hit with travelers, so all I ask is for Keen not to change it! I had a pair of New Balance Minimus for travel for many years and when it was time to replace them due to wear and tear, they no longer made the same design. As with new combat boots in USAF/Army, I put a thick coat of Kiwi on these a couple of times to moisturize the leather and seal it from water exposure as well as make it easier to shake dust off while traveling. I will be all over Europe in these and will provide an update after the trip.UPDATE: Walked through 10 cities in 8 Baltic countries in these. Excellent fit and no hot spots after arduous walking. I gave them another coat of kiwi and installed a quick lace system (photo right) because the laces they came with would become untied at inopportune moments, such as while biking, and were not the same length between left/right shoes. Otherwise, excellent product.

Good, but buyer Beware.
Upon opening the box I was initially disappointed because the left show appeared to be scuffed and scratched about the toe and heel but upon closer examination it was just dust or dirt that was easily wiped away with paper towel. The right shoe was perfectly clean out of the box. No stars off, just a finger wag.Aside from that, these are finely constructed and comfortable shoes. The only thing I'm having trouble with is the arch support, which is quite high and that might be a deal breaker for those who aren't in need of high support. I'm hoping this minor discomfort fades away as the shoes break in but again, no stars off.Other than those minor issues, loving these shoes so far.UPDATE January 19, 2022:During break-in a couple of issues arose - First one being there's some kind of stiff (metal?) thing installed across the tongue of the right shoe that began digging into the top of my foot and it was quite painful for a few days but seems to be loosening up and is comfortable now, but I was seriously considering returning these shoes. Strangely, this (metal?) thing does not appear to be present in the left shoe. Secondly, a weird white discoloration appeared near the end of the right shoe, almost where the leather meets the rubber. Mind you, these shoes have yet to see rain or other wet conditions - the discoloration appeared out of nowhere. As of now, since the shoes are breaking in and a bit of shoe polish took care of the discoloration, I'm still keeping these as I quite like them despite their issues. Other customers may not be as charitable. 2 stars off from my initial 5 star review.Buyer beware.

Great shoe so far.
I've been wearing keens exclusively for about 8 years. Generally a combination of winter and summer dedicated hikers. I was looking for something a little more casual to wear day to day to keep the miles off of my hiking shoes between treks. Initially they were a little stiff but broke in very fast. The roomy toebox and thickish soles make them super comfy. While they are classed as hiking shoes, they don't quite hike as well as my voyagers, but are capable in a pinch if you find yourself on a spontaneous hike. As it sits I would definitely recommend.

Dålig kvalitet
Har knappt gått in skorna, men sulan börjar bli blanksliten på hälen.Väldigt hala i blött väder.Det skulle vara fantastiska skor om det inte var så dålig kvalitet.
