Best chest light
This is very powerful - I’ve run several night races with it and it’s fabulous.Only downside is it takes ages to charge but you just have to remember in advance!

Good light, good burn time, lightweight
They're are times when a head light isn't comfortable or convenient, which is where this is great. Not the brightest thing in the world, but it's got a sensible light pattern which is basically a rectangle at source, so as it hits the ground it's narrower but brighter nearest your feet, spreading out but getting dimmer further ahead. The waist strap plus shoulder strap keep it in place, and the battery pack has the rear red lights on it. Lasts hours. It's a bit fiddly to put on, and if you wear it over a hydration pack it's all fiddly-er, but it's so cheap that on balance I think it's fab 👍😎

Human light-house!
I have mixed feelings about this product. The product was delivered a week prior to the estimated delivery date and it is as described on the Amazon website. On the positive side; the chest light is certainly very bright and illuminates the ground very well. The downside is that the beam of light moves from side to side as I run! Maybe my running form is not as good as I think it is or perhaps the elastic straps need to be tighter. I have just discovered that (for me) the electric cable is more comfortable going around the side of my torso (underarm) rather than over my shoulder, as the cable is not that long. The product is easy to charge and takes about 1 hour. The rear red lights are also bright and clearly visible. This product is ideal for wearing while walking and I imagine good for cyclists too. However, for running, I am not convinced (yet). If you can live with the light beam moving around then the product provides good illumination and the lights (front and back) are clearly visible by others. I also have a head torch I use for running; the light beam is stable but nowhere near as bright. Maybe I need to buy a better quality head torch. Not sure! The jury is still out.

A great reasonably priced running light
Easy to use, self explanatory to fit. It's easier than having a headtorch as they can slip off and the harness is very secure and adjustable so would fit a range of body shapes and sizes. It has reflective harness and a red light at the rear, so you will be very visible from front and rear.Bought this as a recommendation from a fellow runner and was not disappointed. Very reasonably priced compared to a quality headtorch. Very pleased with this purchase.

Game changer
Lightweight and easy to wear. The light is bright and you can easily tilt it whilst running to position it correctly to light up your path. Great that it has the light at the back too and this also shows you how much charge you have left. Easy to charge up. Wouldn’t be without this now for running in the dark.

This can be life-saving on a winter night. "Be safe - be seen!"
I bought a Westlight this winter because many others in our running club had already got them. And we're all very pleased with them. Lightweight; comfortable to run in; they charge up quickly and conveniently, from the same standard cable as a mobile phone. No down-side that we've seen.I use mine for running, but it would be just as useful - and safe - for dog-walking, or cycling, or just walking home from the pub in the dark. Be safe - be seen!

Stopped working. Not robust don't expect it to last
Received this as a Christmas (2021) gift. It is brilliantly bright and I loved running with it through the winter months. In April I put it away for the winter. Got it out again in mid September and it worked for the first run. Then second run, just wouldn't turn on. It is fully charged, but clearly the switch or cable connections are poor quality and not designed to last. Tried to contact the Seller, but they have a dumbie website

You can see and be seen
This is great. I've used it in city green spaces, on canal-side paths and unlit country trails and it does the job. I prefer it to a head torch as, on unlit tracks, a head torch gives me a feeling of tunnel vision (no peripheral vision) that I don't get with this. It is also easier to redirect the beam while running to avoid blinding people coming in the opposite direction.I've had mine for a couple of years and had only one problem with it, which was easily dealt with: it is described as rain resistant rather than rain proof and running in heavy rain showed this to be accurate; the light turns off as rain gets inside the front torch. However, detaching the front torch, turing it upside down and reattaching it - so that the button is on the bottom - means that the power cable enters from below rather than above and rain doesn't enter the torch. Problem gone.
