This was an absolute waste of my money.I do a fair amount of typing on my consoles, usually for apps like Netflix or messaging my friends. I have a chatpad for my 360 that I absolutely swear by, so one of my big wishlist items for my Xbox One was a chatpad keyboard as well. I bought this one because the price looked good and the reviews seemed decent.This chatpad keyboard comes with a little receiver that you're supposed to plug into your Xbox One. This was a little odd, but I went with it because, hey, as long as it worked, who cared, right?To start, the keypad does not fit easily or snugly to the controller. I was extremely careful to line this up and it was incredibly difficult to press the keyboard in without feeling like I was about to break something. When I finally managed to attach it, it did not match up evenly on both sides. I tried multiple times to get this lined up tightly just to be sure, and it simply wouldn't fit nicely.I pressed the connect button as stated in the instruction booklet and the light came on and for about five seconds, it worked! Hooray! And then it would stop. Then a few seconds later, it would start. On, off, on, off. I finally got so frustrated with it about about 15 minutes of trying to make it work that I gave up, called the purchase a loss, and vowed never to attempt to put a chatpad on the One controller again.Maybe there are better chatpads out there. Maybe I just got a really defective one. Regardless, I would never advise anyone to waste their money on this. Seriously, even without the technical difficulties I faced, set up is much more annoying than just moving the mini joysticks around to select letters on whatever you're looking for. Put the money you would have spent on this on an awesome game instead.

Excellent Keyboard. The reason I give 4 Stars is because, the initial set up its really painful and require patient and fallowing the steps given.It took me about 20 minutes to get it to work. I was so upset to the point of almost returning it. But I'm persistent, so i read carefully the instructions, and although i fallow the instruction from the beginning i was in a loop of not getting pair, with my Xbox 1. Finally I unplug my xbox from the electrical outlet for two minutes, and then fallow step by step the set up instructions & finally get then pair. After that it work flawless, no need to deal with the pairing again. It comes factory well package and if not for the trouble of pairing I would give a 5 stars.

No mic port, blocks the one in controller. Will trash and buy the Microsoft brand one when it is out.

Product was simple. Just plug N Play. I just connected the USB to the xbox. Connected the keyboard to the controller and viola. Very simple, didnt even have to go to settings. I would reccomend this keyboardHowever, I did notice just now you cant use a mic. So yea thats a total buzz kill

Good, not great. The buttons need to be pressed pretty hard to register, and sometimes they stick leading to multiple letters repeating.

Does not work at all. The crappy USB piece isnt registered to even exist by my xbox one. Waste of money.

A bit chunky and sometimes when pressing the buttons the pad tries to come out. Some times I have to give it a little extra nudge to push it back in. Also the buttons are a fairly too close to each other but all in all it saves time and trouble plugging in a keyboard or doing things the old fashioned way.

Doesn't work! Feels like plastic mold with nothing inside. Total waste of money.
