I have a power chewing 10-month old Golden Retriever who can quickly tear up the toughest of dog chews. These chews stand up to his tough chewing and last a few days. I also like the fact that small pieces that I consider to be unsafe for chewing can be microwaved to create a cheese puff snack that my dog absolutely loves. The only drawback, and the reason for 4 stars rather than 5, is that the product advertises that it is 16-19 ounces in weight. I have gotten two of these. The first weighed 15 ounces even and the second weighed 15.25 ounces. It's not a big difference, but it is not what is advertised.

This brand & size, XX-Monster, has been THE hardest, most fabulous chew stick yet to be challenged by our 90-pound XXX Champion Chewer GR, who has never before met his match in any thing to be chewed, until now.... The first two evenings with it, he barely made a dent in the 10-1/2" length of it, repeatedly changing ends, not believing his own inability to destroy this thing, in record setting time. The third evening, he sat-up, begging for another "go" at it, & he stuck to chewing on one end, & finally got it rounded off. His progress has been slow.... having shortened it by only 3-1/2" in over two weeks of happy evening chewing at my feet, while I observed. There have been no sharp glassy edges, no large pieces breaking off, & he is working hard & enthusiastically at gnawing off tiny smooth pieces... loving every minute of it, & leaving no mess on the floor. This particular size is not available at this time, so I am re-ordering the product in the largest size offered, & I hope the quality will be consistent with that of the first one. I will be a loyal customer of this brand, if the same hardness & quality continues.... after all, that's the whole point of a "chew stick" to provide long & safe entertainment for our dogs, at their level of enthusiasm & chewing ability.

My dogs love this stuff and I've never seen a larger size. I have extra large breeds and this product is just amazing. I wish more companies made larger sizes in their chews and toys because it's hard to find something that actually lasts. I also like that it's affordable. Perfect for Great Danes perfect for pitbulls and very aggressive chewers as well because they cannot chew through this or break off pieces nor do they want to because they enjoy working on it instead of crunching.

Just received this maybe 15 minutes ago and the light colored yak chew was NOT AS BIG AS the dark colored yak chew I recieved. My one Doberman has tore through the light colored yak and I had to take it away from her. I think these bones are a waste of $24.00 and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I understand they are hand cut but how can one be drier thick and wide and another be skinny and narrow. You need to have a better system or someone way more caring to cut the bones. If these bones weren't already half eaten in under 15 min. I would return them for my $50.00. I also put each bone on a scale and they were BOTH under 14oz. And no where near 16oz like stated. False advertising in my opinion

What a waste of money. Got it yesterday and it was gone this afternoon. Not nearly the "longevity" of the KATHMANDU versions, which I thought were out of stock indefinitely or I'd have never bought this. . I'll stick with them and recommend you try them, too.

Advertised as "16 to 19 ounces" but mine only weighed 13.75 ounces. Very disappointed at the weight discrepancy for the price, hence only 3 stars. It does seem good quality and my dog likes it so I may order it again and hope to get the 19 ouncer! But I'm sure that's just a unicorn!

I have purchased these several times, and my Doberman loves them, but… I order them two at a time, and the last four I have received are full of mold. I’ve sent them back, and will not be ordering them again; the smell of the mold was so strong, I could smell it thru both the plastic wrapping, and the Amazon box. I will not be purchasing again.

Keeps my dog entertained for many hours! He’s is not bored with this to chew on. He can smell it through the packaging and gets so excited until I open it for him.
