Provides Reliable and Strong Multi-channel Wi-Fi
Purchased it for the first time 3 years ago when we cancelled Direct-TV and went streaming all the way. It works so well I purchased this one for another location.

Functions - but???
The unit was delivered with a power adapter that does not fit with the unit. Thank goodness I was replacing a failed unit and the old power adapter worked with the new unit.

limited range only half a sfh
Very disappointed with this, first time going away from netgear and linksys, this thing has no range! I live in a 4 bdr single story house and i get good wifi in the next 2 rooms, but down the hall its iffy and in the backyard its spotty. 1700 sq ft house, really not asking for much here.

DO NOT BUY LUXUL ANYWHERE ON AMAZON!!!
I spent over $300 on this router - only to find that Luxul does not support any of their products sold by Amazon. I might as well have flushed the money down the toilet. The router DOES NOT work, and I have no recourse!

This is NOT a Gigabit Router
Bought new modem (Arris SB 8200) and Luxul Epic 3 XWR-3150 router to replace Comcast/Xfinity equipment at the same time I upgraded to 1 gig service from Xfinity. Modem wired to router and Cat 6 cable to the desktop from the router--best speed is 475 to 486 mbps. If I wire desktop directly to modem I get about 950 mbps. Here is a copy of what I was told from Luxul Chat regarding this "Gigabit" router--"Ok. So with that router, the max speed you will get even with hard wired connections is going to be 600mpbsOn wireless if using 5g, you should be able to get up to 400 ish, and on 2.4 you will max out between 70-100"So, 3 stars because it works OK except for speed and range ;-) Going back to the store when I find something else.

Can’t handle gigabit speed
I’ve had the same experience with others. I have the surfboard sb8200 and this Luxul router. Seemed like a really nice router until I checked my speeds. Hardwired and WiFi get choked at this router. I tested straight from my modem and my 1 gig speed gets at least 800+mb. At this router I may see 500-600hardwired and MAYBE 350mb 5ghz WiFi. My old WiFi/router combo did way better.Update**** techs at Luxul customer service advised this is NOT a gigabit router. Max you will see is about 650 hardwired.

Not a gigabit router!
My experience is similar to Beth’s above. I purchased this router to get Xfinity/Comcast maximum service speed, but this router is not a gigabit router and my wifi does not go over 100 (in the good days) even though Comcast gives me 1,000. The advertisement is misleading.

This is true Gigabit. False advertising. The Wifi range though is strong.
I have 2 of these routers and 3 wireless APs made by luxul. I'm afraid I am looking for replacements or modifications due to it being promoted as a Gigabit router when it is 1/2 of that spec. Bummer and bad promotion but good wifi
