This beach blanket cannot be more perfect. I was looking for 4 main things in a beach blanket and this one has it all!!First, it rolls up into a small bag for easy transport which is so important when you have a million other things to lug onto the beach - the last thing you need is a bulky cumbersome beach blanket.Second, it's HUGE so you can fit a pop up tent, beach chairs, and a handful of people on it with room to spare.Third, the pockets that you can fill with sand to keep the blanket from blowing away are extremely effective and quick and easy to set up. Probably THE MOST annoying thing about other beach blankets is no way to anchor them down except to use whatever else you've lugged onto the beach to hold down the 4 corners, but 90% of the time it doesn't work for one reason or another. So, the 6 sand pockets are awesome!Fourth, it is SO EASY to get sand off of it. It doesn't matter if you got wet sand or dry sand on it, all you do is give it a little shake and it comes off, making for a super easy clean up and pack up at the end of a long beach day. I've tried other beach blankets that claimed to be sand free that were not at all, like those stiff, weaved straw looking mats. They just made a huge mess. And they were scratchy, not comfortable at all, while this beach blanket is soft and comfortable.As a bonus, the free waterproof cell phone protector was a huge selling point for me because I wanted one of those as well. So by buying this blanket, I killed two birds with one stone. I can't think of one negative thing about the blanket or the cell phone protector - 5 stars all the way!!! It was exactly what I was looking for!

The blanket arrived quickly, and took it to the beach for a day trip with the kids. Lightweight and easy to carry in its bag with strap - well made, sturdy buckle. The four metal stakes worked well. The zipper pocket on the corner was a great place to hide the car keys, etc. The water beaded up on the fabric; although, it did seem to absorb some of the moisture if it was left to pool for a bit, but it dried very quickly. The sand just fell off. It folded nicely into the attached bag (that you can t lose). Very large; the four of us had more than adequate personal space! Nice colors. I was concerned about a certain reflective quality/shine that seemed to come through on the website photos, was afraid it might be a bit “glitzy”, but it is tasteful - for lack of a better word... Very happy with my purchase! Machine wash cold, air dry. (Sorry, not stellar photos - of the blanket)

This beach blanket is perfection! Used it for the first time the other day. The material is super soft, comfortable and lightweight. It is super compact and easy to fold back into the built-in pouch. It was just the two of us using it that day and wow was that blanket spacious. It was very roomy for two people and could fit plenty more. The nice thing about it was it is so large that people that came next to us felt further from us because the blanket is large. (this came in handy). The water repellent factor is a very nice touch to keep the blanket dry when ready to be packed away. We used the four stakes (included) to keep the blanket in place and let me tell ya the blanket did not flinch even with the wind we experienced that day. This blanket caught many beachgoers eye, we noticed several people checking it out when we went to go in the water for a swim. Would highly recommend to anyone to get this blanket even if they go to the beach once a year. The comfort, size, and ease of the blanket made my beach day that much more enjoyable. I also love that is machine washable. Can't wait to use this thing again and again!

Though this product is neither sand-free, nor waterproof as advertised, it’s still a great beach blanket. The tight nylon weave means sand sits on top but easily shakes off. Water beads up on it initially, but will eventually soak in (like, if you’re sitting on it in a wet swimsuit). However, it more than comfortably fits all my family’s beach gear and all five of us. It folds up easily and compactly and is very lightweight. The stakes are pretty useless, at least in sand (maybe not on grass turf), but we easily weighed it down with sand in the corners and beach bags. Worked great on our two-week Oahu adventure! Washes easily and dried quickly (air-dried because I wasn’t sure if it could safely go in a dryer). Would recommend.

We go to the beach often, and when we had a baby, I knew I had to get something bigger than a towel for us to lounge on. I wanted something that was easily cleaned and wouldn't get sand in my house. I also wanted it to be big enough for myself, my husband, and my baby to comfortably sit on together.This blanket fits the bill on all of those. It is very lightweight (parachute-type material) and the sand just shakes right off. It is HUGE and easily fits my family plus others. It's not waterproof but water does bead up which gives you a chance to clean up spills. It comes with stakes to keep it from blowing away which work really well. We haven't used the weighted pockets because the stakes are so easy. I was skeptical about it fitting back into the tiny (attached) bag but it packs back in very nicely with little effort.I bought this as a "nice-to-have" item for our trips to the beach. I find myself using it over and over in lots of different places. Even my husband commented and asked where I got it. I only wish I had bought it sooner!

This is the most amazing thing for the beach. Bought one and took it to Hawaii with me, it was so easy to travel with. was a great size and material is amazing to feel. I got so many strangers coming up to me at the beach asking about. I liked it so much I bought a second one for a gift for a friend.

Long long long overdue review. Bought this Chillax Beach Blanket with the waterproof case included in May 2018 and I've brought this blanket to Bali, Indonesia, right at home in Canada on a few camping trips and to beautiful Barbados! It's held up very nicely but also treat it well as it isn't tear-proof.It's awesome and definitely worth the price for how large it was (was about $35-40 CAD when I purchased it) I was so impressed that I would've bought another one but I noticed the huge mark-up. Not sure if I plan repurchasing it for the price advertised (I see it's selling for $90 now holy guac).If you can buy a blanket of similar quality I would go that route, as long as it comes with the metal stakes + sand pockets, you're good. If I will buy another one I might go that route instead.I would suggest still bringing towels so you can lay them on the blanket if you want more cushioning. Material is very thin, Good as a top layer. Not waterproof so it will get damp if you lay it over wet sand, so uh... don't do that lol.Very easy to clean sand off of. Just be careful when you are removing it in the wind, as this baby will fly!!! Thanks Chillax, glad to have snagged this while it was still affordable!

Perfect for any occasion, I keep in my vehicle at all times and use it everywhere I go. It is huge so great for the whole family and love the pockets and extra water proof case that comes with it. Going to buy another one in a different color as well.Thank you,
