Have used this for over six years as my shave bag/kit. Great for traveling. I'm pretty clean and careful with my stuff but it hasn't discoloured or gotten stained at all. If something happens to it I'll definily order another, but I don't think I'll have to because the quality is so good I'm sure it will last much longer.

Nice travel kit for the money. Seems well made and durable. I have used the cheaper nylon ones used by the military for years, (I was also in the military) and they do what they were designed to do. Hold a lot, compress well, are simple so have little to go wrong with them. If I were to upgrade this kit, I would add a steel zipper and possibly make it a two way zipper, or as another reviewer recommended, change it to a circumferential zipper (but then it wouldn't be the military style). I currently use an old "High Sierra" brand toilet kit, that is also OD Green canvas that I purchased in the mid-90's which is still going strong - but it does have a HD steel zipper. The size is 10"x 6"x 4", and it does have the circumferential zipper. The liner is long gone, but I found the liner unnecessary as the canvas is pretty stout. (I use ziploc bags to pack items that are prone to leaking.) It also looks very cool as it "ages"....taking on the look of an old duffle bag. (The High Sierra is similar to the "Household Essentials Grooming Travel Bag Organizer" also sold here on Amazon.) I personally prefer this design for being able to see everything that's in it when it's open, and it is handy to use on a bathroom counter. I purchased the Rothco as I've found that I'm often traveling where I do not have the luxury of a flat counter top (think pedestal sinks, small, impractical private bathrooms, and/or ablution units of the type used in man camps) . This Military design sold by Rothco allows me to keep everything together securely, packs well, appears rugged, and I can use the carrying handle/loop to hang the bag on a hook if a flat surface is not available. Because it's canvas, when it becomes soiled, I just throw it in a washing machine with my clothes...let it air dry, do NOT put in a drier as the canvas will shrink. (I use a carabiner on the canvas handle to provide more hanging options. A Velcro hanging strap or hook/loop cable tie would probably increase your hanging options, as it could be used on a doorknob, towel bar, shower curtain rod, etc....... ) Providing the zipper holds up, I expect this Rothco case to last a very long time.

This is a great little bag. I use it to hold all of those little accessories that bop around in my hockey bag- tape, scissors, screwdriver, laces etc. It has held up to a myriad of abuses for quite some time now and is still going strong.
