I purchased these cups from a massage supply catalog, not from Amazon. They loosen up the fascia layer under the skin, and clients feel so much looser after a minute or two of moving the cups around, making the massage easier to do. I don't usually leave the cups in place, just move them around on the back, upper arms, calves, and upper legs. They can be too uncomfortable on the IT band area for some people, some can tolerate it because of the results achieved. The large cup is too big to use on smaller, slender clients. I mostly use the smaller cups.
