Superb
Are there still people who haven't watched Fleabag? For the uninitiated, the two series are written from the point of view of a highly individual, fiercely independent but self-loathing woman. Everyone is disfunctional and the line between love and loathing is often a very finely drawn one. The first time I watched it I got through series 1 thinking I didn't like it - or her - much but series 2 won me over and now I can appreciate the arc of the central character's development through the drama.Yes, this is drama. TV drama, being innovative and provocative and never, ever dull. All the performances are excellent, with Phoebe W-B, Olivia Colman and Andrew 'the sexy priest' as stand-outs. If you're anything like me, it will make you genuinely laugh out loud one moment and have you blubbing the next.So sit down with your tissues to hand, tipple of choice nearby and binge, binge, binge.

Good fun!
I had heard a lot about this series, but didn't think it was for me. But I was desperate for something to watch (insomnia) and after seeing Killing Eve - written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge - I thought I'd give it a try. Loved it! It is funny, sad, thought provoking and shocking! It was so watchable, and despite being so tired, I found myself going, 'oh, just one more episode' I can't say I particularly liked Fleabag (the character) all the time, but I felt sorry for her, and defensive of her when the other characters were just assuming the worst of her. All human nature was there to see. It had me laughing out loud, squirming with distaste, crying with sorrow and engrossed all the way through the too few episodes. Every character was well written and wonderfully portrayed by some of my favourite actors, just showing how talented they are. Now I know what all the fuss was about. If like me, you think its not for you, give it a try and you too might fall in love with Fleabag (the series and the character).

ALWAYS LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE? NOT A CHANCE!
Life can be ghastly. With constant meaningful glances at the camera, thirty-three year old Fleabag makes us aware of what she has to put up with every single day. So much is so pretentious, so asinine. She herself does not exactly attract - foul mouthed, scathing, nothing seeming to please (except some of the sex, but that only temporarily). For much of Season 1, I wondered what all the fuss was about. How come the acclaim? In due course much became clearer, Fleabag herself earning more understanding, more sympathy. Wincingly well portrayed is one out of tune with the world, perhaps so much so because of two deaths in her life. Conscience ever jabs about the loss of her best mate, for which she feels responsible.Season 2 hits the ground running, belonging to a higher league - this in no small part due to the introduction of Andrew Scott as a highly unconventional priest. Such charm! Can even Fleabag be about to find happiness?Acting throughout is great: Bill Paterson as dithering dad, never the same since death of his wife; Olivia Colman hilariously horrible as Fleabag's future step-mum; Sian Clifford as the neurotic sister forever at odds, but so often needing help.Abrasive fare. This is life. Simply get on with it - the daily annoyances and embarrassments, excruciating family get-togethers, award ceremonies where pretentiousness reigns, brittle relationships, even the occasional punch-up.Salute here Phoebe Waller- Bridge's brainchild - scripts finely crafted, acting of a high order.Wrong to laugh at others' misfortune? If so, millions of fans have to plead guilty.

Pathos where you least expect it
So crash course if by any chance you don’t know fleabag. First point, you do know fleabag, there is a bit of her in you and everyone you know. She is a flawed, fun, flirty, foul mouthed creation who will make you laugh out loud and bring a tear to your eye. Second point, each series is a stand alone in themselves and third and final point, these series have become cult, not for nothing has pheobie Waller bridge become hot property.

The best series I've ever watched - and it grows on you every time you watch it!
This is amazingly good - a humorous but in-depth study of humanity and all its weird ways! The depth of the story gets better and better in the second series - and her bravery and sense in ending while she was on a high, when many writers are tempted to "leave things open ended" for an extra series - to the point when scripts are stretching credibility. A must have series for anyone's collection of the best box sets ever!!

Just wonderful...
I was so keen to get Fleabag as part of my collection before it disappeared into someone's back catalogue or wherever it is they eventually go. Truly innovative TV comedy is rare - and this is rare to the point of being bloody. In other words, bloody good TV. It makes me laugh, it makes me want to cheer, and I love it. That's it.

Original. Next generation of brilliant writers
Excellent script. Love the humour as it falls within the truth of how women live in this modern world. Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders dared to bring Absolutely Fabulous to our lives. This is a new generation of singular talent is our Fleabag.

Watch it, if you haven‘t yet!!
I think the first episode of the second season must be one of the best episodes TV has ever seen EVER. And to have it on blueray means I can watch it again and again without clicking and loading and pixel war, if the connection is bad
