By the time I received the dog food it was covered in mold and I couldn't serve it to my dog. This item isn't eligible for return so I'm out of the money and food. Won't be ordering this product again.

Our active German Shorthaired Pointer typically eats 2-3x the recommended portion of almost every dog food (without gaining weight). With this food, he finally ate something closer to the recommended portion size, which means the bag lasted a good bit longer than our usual mid-range Blue Diamond or Purina Pro Plan, and longer than all of the premium foods we've sampled.No changes to his tummy or bathroom habits, or weight.As for the ingredients, I like the meal ingredients (no water weight, so a true show of percentages), although it seems to be a current marketing ploy to argue against meals. There are grains early in the list, but also good animal proteins, and healthy additives, and fat, a nice ingredient to see high on the list for an active dog.

my dog loves this dog food and she's normally pretty picky! she might eat some kind of food, but won't keep eating it.... although we've just started with this food, she hasn't shown any signs of disinterest.... I appreciate the company's choice of ingredients - what I call Super Premium Dog Food.... thank you for caring about my baby!

Don’t buy this product if you’ll need it within the next couple weeks. I’m not sure why it seems so hard for this particular type of food to arrive in a timely fashion versus other brands. I can see why some of the other reviews claim the food was not fresh when it arrived. Just unacceptable.Native dog food, however, is great. Especially, if you have working German shorthair pointers like I do.Just don’t expect it to arrive on time.
