The grandsons are loving this snowplow, plowing the sidewalks...improving their driving skills. This is a big hit!!

This won't be a bolt-on modification, but once you do the modifying it is a very solid plow. I've run it 4 times now, and the mounts and pivot points have held up well. This isn't a bolt-on mod, I did need to do some filing and shimming; I wouldn't recommend this for the novice hobbyist. But if you have any mechanical ability this is a solid base to make a very entertaining plow truck. I'm definitely happy with it, and it has probably ran along 500' of sidewalk with no issues. It'll push snow above the hood of the pictured TRX-4, you can actually move 2-3" of snow with this. Just be ready for a bit of a project to fit it. But once you do, it's loads of fun. It reacts like a real plow truck, I've actually done some real snow plowing with this. I'd highly suggest a set of chains on your tires though.

I purchased a plow kit and received it today. the build quality would probably get 4 stars if not for some sloppy enginnering... the blade arm support is about .5mm too narrow, and if you tighten it so that the screws won't vibrate loose, it binds up and doesn't flex on the shocks. Also, the holes in the mounting studs are too small to fit an m3 screw... and unlike what the question answers state, it does not fit a Gen 8. The Gen 8 uses a 9mm diameter bumper mount stud with m3 screws going through them... I just happened to order a roll of carbon fiber filament at the same time, and I designed a mount which I am now printing... I will add a picture if it works...Alternatively you can replace your bumper mount with something like the KYX Racing Aluminum Bumper Mount which comes with adapter sleeves and stuff, but it's too late to order one before we get snow...Also, if you want full control, you need to add a servo to lift and lower the plow, which also means upgrading the radio to something with 3 or more channels... the description doesn't show a servo mounted, but that is what the chain is for.

Great fit for the Redcat gen8 you will have to buy a 3 channel receiver

Great quality. There are no instructions so it is hit or miss putting it together. It does not fit the Redcat Everest. Needs additional machining to fit most crawlers. Typical Chinese Communist manufacturing. Be advised!

Poor quality, servo mount is loose and the chain is too weak to lift the blade, also the instructions were useless. You could make it work with some mods but definitely not worth 50 dollars.

Bought for my 10 year olds rc car. Would not go together well. Screws all need to be tightened constantly. Put a actuator on for lift and it bent right away. 10 year old is extremely dissatisfied.

Works great once you figure out how to put it together used pictures from other reviewer‘s because the instructions they come with are very very basic and the photo copier that was used was very low on toner

Good for a laugh but definitely a big time waster trying to get it functional. The provided chain is insufficient to support the weight and will break immediately.

Plow works great but first try lifting it the chain bent would recommend using a washer on the plow side rather then the aluminum sleeve it come with installed

hope the quality is not bad..problems with this is there is no guide or instruction to assemble it..and you might need some washers too..but it fits well on my trx4
