The Nice Book

Interrupting Chicken was my 3-year-old granddaughter's favorite book, so I figured she might also like this one by the same author. She does, but what was also a pleasant surprise was how much her parents like it. It's a much quicker read than Interrupting Chicken, so if it becomes a new favorite, the inevitable read-overs won't take so long, which could be another point in this book's favor. I give it only four instead of five stars, myself, though, because dramatic flair is lacking. I think this book is better for a younger child - which is good for our family since we have a younger one, too.

Bought this book for two nephews. The artwork is wonderful! I love the use of an almost finger-painting quality the artist used and the message is so great! It's a fantastic book. I'd encourage everyone to read it and take it message to heart. Be Nice!

This is a very simple board book. The illustrations are cute and simple too. I enjoyed the message but don’t think the be kind part really stuck with my 4 year old.We like the phrase “ if your in a snit don’t hit”

Purchased for my almost 3 year old. Every page has an artistically drawn group of animals with themes of manners and kindness dos and fonts and a cute haiku-type style. Love it.

This book was rated so high. It's "nice", but don't see what the big deal is. Sure, add it to your inventory. Pretty simple.

Sweet book to help little children learn about kindness

Very disapointing. We wanted this to help our 3 year old behave more kindly towards our 1 year old. But the examples are badly chosen and it doesn't serve its purpose at all. It doesn't appeal to our eldest daughter at all.

Sweet book describing ways to express kind feelings. I think this must only be available in board book format...I selected hard cover and received board. I have not seen a paperback version. None the less ❤️ This simple story to inspire kindness.

Woke book, returned

a great book for teaching your children about all things lovely and nice.The first 2 times I read this to my baby he did not pay attention at all as the pictures are a little abstract but the 3rd or 4th time it started to sink in and now he loves it.
