This is an essential book for every parent, mother, father, grandparent and friend to have. Knowing the stages to bless a child will alter the child's belief system forever. It has some good ideas on how parent's bless their children but I don't see it expressed to those who didn't grow up in a blessed home. So I have to work harder to get it from Father God which means my generational line of sin has to be removed and it takes a long time so asking for the church to help - the church has to be walking in the gifts of the spirit to get healed of the damage. Get out of the Religious church.

Good read for those coming from dysfunctional families who want to begin to bless the following generations and to have Identity and Destiny blessed and not cursed.

If all the fathers in America would read this book and put it into practice, our social problems would be over.Craig Hills teaching is very hands on and a lot from his personal experience. Events, processes and procedures are well explained. I had no problem understanding the described issues and putting into practice the solutions. I don't have biological children, but do a lot of mentoring. This book even helped me to majorly improve the relationship with my own parents. But keep in mind, any minister can only point the way, you still have to walk it and build your very own and personal relationship with our heavenly Father, creator of the universe, Yehovah. I am often saddened by the many who faithfully go to church every Sunday morning but never hear the voice of God.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! It came Highly recommended to my by the Leaders of Living Life By Design. I read the whole book very thoroughly and have already noticed a few "open doors" that were affecting my own children. I followed the recommended prayers from the chapters and I HAVE SEEN A DRASTIC IMPROVEMENT IN MY CHILD'S BEHAVIOR!! I am so Thankful that there is solid, Bible Based Parenting Advice in this book. It is an absolute must read for every parent. I wish I had read a book like this 25 years ago. I have shed a lot of tears as I read this book because I seem to have passed on curses without knowing the proactive blessing process. What an eye opener to the blessings on our children at different stages of life. It has changed my life and now I am going through the process of blessing my two sons 24 yrs and 21 yrs old. The content of this book is extremely valuable! In today's society we have lost the value or even the notion of blessing or what it means. While reading this book, God used it to bring emotional healing to me through application of some of the principles in this book. People need affirmation of their worth and value, especially when they are children. It's amazing how, as demonstrated in this book, that even a grown man can be so impacted by and experience a shift in his own life by simply having his father bless him (in addition to forgiveness and repentance from both of them).

This is hard to put down. So much to say. Read it! Apply it! I have blessed my children after this teaching. It is a wonderful tool. Very practical. It really unlocks the heart of a child to have such love and encouragement spoken over them.
