five starts for the housing, 2 for the fittings. The housing works great! I bought more of them this year just without the fittings. the ones on this item are hard to use, don't seal well to tubing at pressures over 60PSI. the fittings also reduce flow more than they should. This year I bought item http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IR4ZN62/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which is an identical housing just without any fittings. I put my own push to connect fittings on and they seal, are easy to use and don't restrict flow.

Product will work but I was supprised that it had the type of fittings installed that it did. I changed them out for the push fit fittings.

Works good with our existing reverse osmosis system

Pros:1. Easy to install (Only one O-ring. May be loose when you open it. This O-ring should be placed on top end of the housing not on the cap)2. Comes with check valveCons:No instruction!
