these frames, although of vintage age, and no longer manufactured, are BRAND SPANKING NEW, still with the original clear non-prescription lenses installed, there is not a mark on them,and are best described as new old stock, they must have been kept in storage unused for a long time, they are probably now considered unfashionable, but SAFILO frames are built like the proverbial brick outhouse, and are still one of the best spectacle frames around IMHO, they were delivered faster than a speeding bullet, using quantom teleportation, and received 5 days after dispatch from the USA.

My husband loved his Safilo frames but they were worn out and needed to be replaced after over 10 years of everyday use. These frames are the same style and just as good quality. Safilo frames are built to last and comfortable to wear.

Safilo Elasta make great frames, their unique spring loaded hinges make for a very secure fit.

These are great frames, period. I've been wearing glasses for almost 60 years and I got tired of having them broken by my dog head butting them, little kids tossing them, etc. I still have the first pair of them from 2010 and the nose piece has begun to deteriorate, but the frames are still 100% as good as new. If you want solid frames and like the looks of them, you will not regret buying them. They aren't cheap, but they are worth every penny.
