There's really no one like him. He's a little bit of everything - props, magic, cruelty, puns, stage craft, and he's got a gift for improv and working with audience members. I've watched Johnathan since his early days in San Francisco. This video shows him at his best, I think. Well produced.I also really enjoy watching the extras where you can see the same or similar jokes done a little differently and how they go over.It's a crack up. His humor is not for everyone, but it is for most people. My wife doesn't like his humor, but even she laughed out loud a few times while sitting through it with me.I can't wait to go see him in Vegas!

Sick, twisted and hysterically funny! Fans of Jeff Dunham will enjoy Johnathon. The limited amount of actual "magic" is actually pretty good, but this is truly a comedy act. A little bit of shocking, comedic gore and some rough language should warn the kids off, but nothing too intense for adults. Be sure to check out the bonus materials. You'll find some of the bits in the regular video duplicated (from other "Johnathan" live performances), but there are some very good added bits as well.

funny how many people still do not know who he is, butt for those that have enjoyed his performances know how good he is, he is now a regular in vegas & rightfully so, he's original & oh so funny, he does do comedy butt also includes clever slight of hand tricks & he just gets better time after time, for those who love him you will not be disappointed & for newcomers to his style you are in for a pleasant surprise

Such a great comedian and magician. I couldn't stop laughing the entire time. I never knew magic could be so funny.

I saw The Amazing Jonathan live 28 years ago and he instantly became my favorite comedian. I saw him live again a few days ago and he was even better! He is fantastic and hilarious! He is the greatest comic magician of all time. This video is him at his very best... well worth it!

I love this guy. His jokes and prop comedy is grotesque, but great! I originally saw him on the worlds greatest magicians when I was really young, a bit later I saw his comedy central bit, then I was excited to hear about this airing on comedy central. This DVD includes all of his previously aired performances in the bonus features.
