Item is really good, for the most part.I had a dead section where the plastic was just all messed up. So I lost a good portion of the strip.Where it worked, it really worked. Super bright and installed inside the engine bay of two 4Runners.I installed it in mine first to test the durability. Installed in October 2022 and will modify the review if anything happens. Has been through different types of Texas weather and has held up really well!!I hooked it up to a bonnet style switch to turn on with the engine bay open.Update 1/18/2023 - Seller was very good with communication and shipped out a replacement due to the dead section! I’m leaving the pics for others to see, hopefully my issue was a one off.

Replaced these many times, bought these on Amazon thought they’d be great, put them on, by midday next they were hanging by the wire!! Now there dirty with ground leaves and dirt and are worthless, in 10 years of changing them every 2 years never had any problems! Adhesive was not any good! I bought 2 white and I blue!! Never again from this seller!!!

I made the mistake of pulling a strand through 1/2" holes with a hook and broke one side of this 7' tall fountain; my bad. Carefully threading the LED one direction then the other worked fine, and it's been underwater for two weeks with perfect function.The RGB controller might as well be a clay model: zero function, no effect on brightness, no capacity to even turn on or off, and I recommend not pairing it with this LED. I'll just accept the level of brightness a direct hookup affords as seen in the photo, and throw the controller and remote into the trash.

Easy to use/figure out and bright even with a cover on!

Liked the Waterproof strip, but the adhesive liner does not even stick to the back of the LED strip itself

Oh, where to start. Okay, first thing I noticed when I took the light strip out of the sealed package was that there was no blue peel off strip on the back where the adhesive would be. That made sense when I found there was no adhesive strip at all, like there was supposed to be according to the description. Then I noticed it looked sort of dirty. Deciding I could work around the adhesive issue, since the description indicates the adhesive would need to be augmented anyway, I hooked it up to my 12VDC battery to test it and found only the first meter or so lighted. Not giving up, and not needing the entire 15 meters, I cut it off where the break was and tested the rest, which worked okay. EDIT: Following this review, I was contacted by the seller who made every attempt to have another of these shipped to me (free) without a return, but was unable. So, he refunded the full purchase price instead. The seller seems to be first rate and I can't blame him for the product, he didn't manufacture it. I gave this a 2 star rating, but the seller deserves 5 stars.
