Buy a Classic Rolls-Royce or Bentley

Very well written book which serves as the perfect starting point on a potential quest. Points out many potential pitfalls. Forewarned really is forearmed. Valuable information on the various models and valuations is presented in a well organized manner. The “Dictionary of Rolls-Royce and Bentley Terms” is a nice resource. Interesting that this is an area of car ownership with its own language, at least to a certain extent. Joining the Enthusiast Club and speaking with other owners strikes me as the next logical step.

This is a great book for anyone interested in buying a Rolls Royce and also serves as a historical narrative giving a detailed history of the company. I knew more about Rolls Royce and Bentley than the average person I would estimate and found it to be very informative as it filled in some of the gaps in my knowledge of the M&A's in addition to substantial detail on early models and production numbers.

Great little book. The author supplies pertinent information on several levels of owning a classic that apply to all makes and brands. I have read several books on owning classic cars but non better then this one. This book is a quick read, to the point and what is repeated is necessary for the topic at hand. Even if you are not in the market for a Rolls Royce or Bentley 70% of the text will help with what ever marque you might be interest in.

Well done but aimed for the American market.
