Intestive 500 mg 120 caps

I swear by this product and share my story with anyone I know who may be able to benefit from it.I've been using Intestive for 25 years. I was diagnosed with severe ulcerative colitis in my early thirties. I couldn't even take a sip of water without running to the bathroom. I had bleeding ulcers in my colon, was put on prednisone, and doctors at Princeton Gastroenterology in NJ counseled me about the likely need to have part of my colon removed in years to come, and the need to wear an external bag for the rest of my life. Ugh!Not wanting to take Rx drugs for life because of their terrible side effects, and not liking the future prognosis, I looked for something better. A few years later, I came across Intestive at a Mind-Body-Spirit Expo in Philadelphia. They were handing out free samples because it's all food based (whitefish [Seacure], colostrum, and boswelia [a.k.a. frankincense]). As I was told, Intestive (or their Seacure product) was originally produced as a supplement to help severely malnourished individuals in 3rd-world countries. They later found Intestive helps with colitis, diverticulitis, irritable bowel syndrome and more.I immediately began weening myself off prednisone over the next 6 months, while taking 6 Intestive caps/day as recommended. Fast forward five years, and I had new doctors where I had moved to asking me if I was sure I had ulcerative colitis, because there were no signs of it in my colonoscopy. Same results 5 years thereafter with new doctors again, and five years after that... Eventually, I reduced my Intestive dosage down to one per day. Then stopped taking them for about 5-10 years, mostly for economic reasons after losing a job. After stopping Intestive for many years, some mild symptoms began to redevelop, so I started taking them again.I now just take one per morning in as preventative measure, but on the rare occasion that I feel I need more, I take a second one at night. I frankly plan to take them for the rest of my life. $10-15/month is well worth the health benefits. There is nothing in this product that is harmful (unless you have issues with whitefish (not shellfish), colostrum, or boswelis (frankincense), and it's oh sooo helpful!!!My neighbor recently told me he has diverticulitis and his doctor had him scheduled for partial colon removal in September 2022, and bag for life. I told my neighbor about Intestive and my history with colitis, and I gave him an extra box I had at home. He started taking them that day, and 3 days later, he told me he was already noticing a huge improvement in his symptoms. It's now a few weeks later, and he is feeling great. In fact, he is now hoping to be able to cancel the surgery.Yes, diet is important. I try to stay away from all milk products (lactose is a problem for me). I also eat a very healthy diet now of mostly organic veggies, hummus, organic fruits and nuts, and organic rice cakes. But I just adapted to that diet in recent years. Intestive has helped me for decades now.If you have any problems with your colon, I highly recommend this product. No ill side effects, unless you have a problem with whitefish (not shellfish), boswelia, or colostrum. But most people do not. And what a relief to not have to deal with colon issues, Rx side effects, or surgery and life-long external colon bag.THIS PRODUCT WORKS!!! Also, people in the company back in Pennsylvania are all very nice.PS: This Amazon vendor offers this product at a great price! I hope they continue to do so. :)PPS: As this vendor states, the date on the box is NOT AN EXPIRATION DATE. It is a MANUFACTURED DATE, and the product is GOOD FOR FIVE YEARS THEREAFTER. I am now taking some in a box with a 2018 date on it. (It's now July 2022). The product is fine, and still AMAZING as always!!!As my neighbor said, he had nothing to lose in trying it, and a whole lot to gain, as did I when I first tried it. I usually don’t leave reviews, but I loved this product the first time I bought it. It helped me to deal with SIBO. This is my second box and it’s awful. The stamp says that this batch was manufactured in November 2018. I just read that the manufacturer is saying that the product is good for five years. I bought it in February 2024 so it is outdated. The pills smell awful like a rotten fish. And my stomach got very irritated when I started taking them. So it’s Amazon or the manufacturer that is selling expired pills. It seems that there’s no regulations and we are paying almost $50 for outdated products that could affect our health negatively.

Not happy with my order at all. Received my box today and it's from 2016. Not sure what shelf life of this product is but other meds you are supposed to toss after a year. This is over 2 years old. Would prefer a fresh product to ensure its still good.

Great product recommended by my Naturopath and it has helped me tremendously, after an emergency room visit with a one time colitis attack. I also want to point out the company who distributed to me, HEALTHY TRADER was very cooperative when I reported I had a major issue with the package when it was delivered to me. It was dripping wet like it had fallen into water and the product boxes just fell apart. I sent pictures of the problem at their request and they replaced the product without hesitation. Thank you.

I have gluten, casein, and soy, and yeast intolerance, and can have several days to weeks of pain, inflammation, and bloating, and overall discomfort if I eat something that doesn't agree with me. This product really helped me to recover from food reactions that I experienced the last time I traveled to Cayman. I normally suffer at least a week, this had me feeling better in 4 days. Not saying it is a miracle cure, just that it seems to help my system recover faster, so instead of being hugely uncomfortable a minimum of a week, I was able to function after 4 days with minimal discomfort.

i love this combination of fish protein with the immune booster colostrum. It also has other ingredients as well that can lower the bodies inflammation and immune response.

Intestive was recommended by our doctor in 2013 to help with ulcerative colitis. It has helped greatly. Product was received in timely manner.

I'm hoping that this product helps my husband with his ulcerative colitis.
