Oswald

This book is so very sweet. It's all about Oswald the octopus moving to Big City, and how he makes all kinds of new friends in town. My daughters (ages 4 and 1) both love this book. Bright colors and adorable dialogue.

My children love the show and so I bought this book for them. They love it. It is repeative as Oswald keeps meeting more and more neighbors in Big City. This type of repeative reading is good for young children. Funny sounds and friendly characters adds to the charm of this tale of how Oswald meets all of his friends.

I paid for a new book and the pages were wrinkled and one page had scribbles from a pencil! So disappointed! My granddaughter said used was fine with her when I was ordering and I decided to buy a new one to bless her for double the price! Please contact with the remedy

Cute and adorable and gentle, just like the TV show. Has fun words for kids to say, "Splinkie, splinkie" for the piano, "Hoo-wee" for Daisy, etc. Introduces all the main characters.

The illustration style and plot is well done. I only wish I could have some of that quaint music from the TV series included herein.

ＷＯＷＯＷで放送中のほのぼのしたアニメ、オズワルドのオリジナル絵本。アニメ自体も、吹き替えをＯＦＦにしても十分原語で理解できる易しさですがもちろんこの絵本も、大きな文字で読みやすい簡単な英語。翻訳も書店に出ていますが、ぜひ、原書で楽しんでください。コンパスを使って描いたのかな？と思うほどまるくてかわいい、タコのオズワルド君が街に引っ越してくるお話です。まるで『大きなカブ』のように、街に住むキャラが次々に出てきて、カラフルでやさしいタッチの、シンプルな絵＆英語が楽しめます。

子ども（一才）の英語絵本を探していた時、かわいくてポップな絵に惹かれて購入。お話も優しくて私はとっても気に入りましたが、一才児にはちょっと長すぎるかな？でもかわいい絵自体は子どもも気に入ってるようです。今度シリーズのほかのものも買ってみようと思ってます。DVDもあわせて購入しましたがこちらもおすすめ。
