I'm pleased with the product and will not be returning it. I like the color, the gloves washed well the first time, the coating on the inside of the gloves is very useful. However, I think the quality control needs some improvement. The stitched binding at the base of the glove was not done properly all the way around the glove, and an inch or so of ragged edge showed after the first wash. I decided to keep the gloves and stitched up the edge. I will probably also remove the metal ring on each glove as it bangs in the washer and dryer. Other than that, I'm happy with the gloves.

Been using these for months and they have not let me down yet, even though still I need to find a place to hang them, lol. The protective strips really help keep the fabric from being damaged when handling hot items and you can't really feel the heat unlike other mitts I have used. I haven't had to wash them yet since I use them only a few times a week so I can't attest to how a washer would affect the quality, however just from the feel of them I believe that it should be minimal wear and tear in a normal wash cycle. Only downside I have seen is that the inside fuzz sometimes sticks to your hands if you have any moisture on them, so be sure to wipe hands before using them so you don't end up with white fluff sticking to fingers.

I like the product as it is longer than other oven mitts. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that my hands are smaller so the gloves are larger than I need them to be. I am keeping the set as I really needed the upper arm protection while pulling items out of the oven.

I was looking for oven mitts 12 inches long and these are very nice, they are good about dissipating heat and fit both my small hands and my husbands large hands just fine. They are easy to toss in the washing machine and I like the hanging rings that come with them. I am going to get a second pair in red, the blue I purchased is a vibrant cobalt tone. They have a definite left and right hand configurations since the gripping surface is only on one side of each glove, not a problem at all.

Perfectly fine oven mitts. I’ve had better, mind you. My last pair were far more heat resistant in their prime. But these are adequate, so long as you don’t stand there holding onto a 450-degree pan for more than 30 seconds or so. Which would be a weird thing to do anyway. I mean, what are you trying to prove? Apart from the heat resistance threshold of your handsome new oven mitts…

Zero complaints after having these for almost 4 years. I even bought a second pair since I liked them so much and had damaged the first pair (my own fault). Very comfortable, excellent insulation and the silicon grip side is far more useful than I would've figured before I bought them the first time.

First of all, they protect my hands from hot bake ware. Second, the built in Teflon protective strips ( the black lines on the inside of the mitts ) really protect the material from getting burned. Plus, they're very comfortable to wear / use - not bulky. And the icing on the cake is the deep , rich forest green color. I'd but them again &/or get them as gifts !

Excellent quality. I liked that they are extra long makes reaching into oven safer. I also like that they have have rubber like ridges on the palms and fingers which provides excellent grip.Would have preferred if more colors were offered.Overall they are an excellent choice for kitchen use.
