72mm ND 1000 Filter, 10 Stop Neutral Density Filter for Camera Lenses, 30-Layer Multi-Resistant Coated, German Optics Glass, Weather-Seal ND Filters with Lens Cloth

The filter was well packaged. An indoor test was performed and it appears to have worked as described. Photo on left was shot at 1/250 sec at f5.6 and the photo on the right was taken at 2 sec at f5.6. The meter i the camera indicated 1.3 seconds but image was a little too dark. 2 sec worked better. I did not see any color shift in the images.

Color stays accurate, the image is consistent all the way through, no streaks or dark areas. Makes long exposures beautifully, I Ordered the 6 stop too. Wish there was others to choose from but I only see a 6 and 10 on Amazon. I love them and would by them again - I also bought the 82mm ones as well.They came the next day - nice case and wipe cloth came with them - Two styles on deep and one shallow. I like the deep better because you can put the lens cover on it - the shallow one you can not.

I like the strong, but thin metal filter ring. It screws in and unscrews without binding, yet it never gets loose while on the lens. The glass is high-quality and renders neutral images (ie. no color shift!). I have pointed it directly at the sun, and there is no flare or ghosting caused by the filter. The photos I take are just as sharp as when I take the same photo with the filter removed. These filters live up to the advertising, and are more reasonably priced than many other filters out there. I have not yet, and don't intend to, smudge them up or abuse them, just to "test them out" against other filters that claim to shed dirt, water, and grease. I take better care of my equipment than that. I don't need to pay 3x the cost just for features that assume abuse of equipment. These Lenskins are the best balance between cost and quality that I could find on the market.

Had this out for its first spin today. Worked well as far as really stopping it down (in retrospect I should have gone for a less pipe-hitting filter) but I noticed a significant color cast (blue) when viewing on the camera. I'm on vacation and don't have access to a computer to edit them and see if it can be corrected, but compared to the shots I took without it was quite noticeable.Will update my review after I get a chance run them thru Lightroom. Hopefully it's no big deal to correct. But right now I'm pretty disappointed. I bought this specifically because other reviews mentioned no significant color cast. Time will tell...UPDATE- color cast was easily corrected (white balance issue) nothing to be worried about.

Absolutely blown away by this filter. Highly recommend for the money/value. I used this on our trip to Iceland and Norway while shooting landscapes. I used a sigma 24-70 along with a 5D mkiii. No issues and was pleasantly surprised with the clarity, color and sharpness with the filter. See photo examples.

Purchased Lenskins MRC-ND 1000 82mm filter for use on Nikon D850 with Tamron 24-70 F2.8 G2 lens. Filter comes in plastic box, similar to other filter brands (B+W) and is very light. Frame of filter is aluminum and threads on to Tamron smoothly. Because of lightness of filter, can't tell if it's glass, the description on Amazon said it's German optical glass and multi-coated. Ran some water on the filter and it flowed right off, so there is some kind of coating on it. Filter was nice & clean out of the box. Did some test shots in my backyard with and without the filter and wasn't able to tell the difference. Pictures as viewed on back of camera screen looked just as sharp as without filter. No change in colors either. Also, compared this to the K&F drop-in filter set I purchased at the same time, and again no difference. Happy with purchase so far. Will need to take some real pictures before, I can give a 5 star rating, 4 stars for now.

Used on a trip out west, used it to take a series of long exposures. Used during bright daylight I was taking 30 second exposures and there was no discernible color cast. Filter is made reasonably well, and more than reasonably well when you factor in the price.

This was my first purchase for a neutral density (ND) filter for long exposures and I was very happy with the quality. And while it would be easier to have a magnetic attachment for ease of use in the field, my budget does not allow for that. This fits my 77mm lens perfectly, is easy to attach and detach and the quality of the long exposure photo is good (though photos tend to be a bit blue and easily correctable in editing software). I would recommend using this brand ND filter, have purchased a second ND in a 6 stop and am also happy with the results.
