Very good balance. Amazing for the price. Been using it for years. Very durable. Not an orchestral player, but it's perfect for my needs.

Excellent Bow!!
This is an excellent bow!!!! I am really happy with it!!!!! Feels great to play on it and it draws a big yet sweet sound out of my bass with ease. The black horse hair is of excellent quality but most importantly, the maker did a an excellent job of installing the hair on the bow - its' perfect!I am a professional bassist of 30 years so I I know what I am talking about :)Shipping was super fast! It shipped from china and I received it in 4 days. It came Packaged in a sturdy hard plastic tube.I will be doing business with you again. Thank you very much!

Favorite bow
This is a fantastic bow, producing a strong sweet full rich sound. My son is in 3 local orchestras and 2 jazz bands and this is his all around favorite bow. He uses the German style with helio core hybrid strings. The black Mongolian horse hair bow is extremely well-made, especially for his rough playing and highly complex music. And it sounds really impressive on his 7/8 double bass, no matter where he is playing.

Great bow
It’s very beautiful and plays great. Only problem is the ferrule (the part where the hair sticks to) is pulling away from the frog and slide. Note: I do not keep my bow extremely tight. It started doing this right when I got it and it’s slowly gotten worse.

A big improvment over my fiberglass Glaser
I'm new to arco playing and initially bought a a fiberglass standard Glaser German bow ($99) and just replaced it with this bow. It weighs approx10 grams less than my Glasser but that difference feels huge in my hands. Light as a feather and as a result I have better control of it. Overall build quality is "good enough" for me at this stage of my playing.

Seems to play fine and it's a little lighter than the Brazilwood bow ...
Seems to play fine and it's a little lighter than the Brazilwood bow that I got before. It should be pretty much unbreakable, being carbon fiber. I think the black hair is a little grabbier than the white and I like it better. If I had a criticism, it would be that the width of the hair surface is a little narrower than some of the other bows I have bought. Enough hair to do the job, but less than my other bows. It is cool looking, for sure.

Worth $100
This bow plays well, finish is not great. It arrived broken, small crack in the frog, we agreed rather than return to a small discount if I bought another. Definatly worth $100.

Taxes paid for a issue
I paid taxes for a something that should be arrived on time. It's my first time that I bought an item and pay taxes at the same time...
