The best Zine to deal with nothing but monsters in films!
Still one of the best monster zines on the market. Stephen R. Bissette's heavily researched article on the "Lost" film THE GLASSHEAD (1998) should win him a Rhondo Award™ next year. If it doesn't, consider him robbed. The rest of the zine is jam-packed with reviews and interviews with Monster films and the people who make them. This is still one of my top DIY zines of all time. People are foolish if they don't buy a copy. And let me make this clear to all the haters out there: I in no way have anything to do with MONSTER! besides being a huge fan. It's not often you see a regularly-published professional-looking zine (with no advertising) filled with so much information, so if you are a fan of films containing monsters from around the world (that is all this zine deals with), you can do no better than buying any issue of this zine. I guarantee you will learn something new in every issue. I just wish that they would offer subscriptions, but that would do nothing but delay every issue (And I, for one, understand that completely). For a quick look-up of every issue Amazon offers, type "Tim Paxton" in the search bar.
