I liked the movie

The movie was very good! I enjoyed it and can rewatch it when ever and for as many times as I want!!

Good storyline with a good message, Hallmark needs to make more good moral story movies like this.

I love Carousels, Kimberly Sustad, Paul Campbell and of course, Kathie Lee Gifford. This movie is very sweet. There are lots of sweet scenes, snow and antiques. Nice characters and Christmas scenery to enjoy too. While not a fan of movies whereby one person is in a relationship with someone else then they fall in love with someone, this idea seems to be a mainstay for Hallmark. With a very busy boyfriend who surprises her with an engagement ring, a beautiful antiques whatever she is, goes to see her beloved Aunt after he is too busy to go with her. She arrives near Martha's Vineyard to see her Aunt but Aunt sends her to Nantucket to go antiquing by herself after she gets a call from her editor. Man these people are busy! Anyway a new relationship evolves and an engagement ends. Two people decide they would rather be together and throw a little matchmaking in to the pile and wala: Another Hallmark moment. This movie is based on a true story. Lovely. The actors did not seem to have the right chemistry but they do get along and they do connect on a sweet level. I liked the movie enough to buy it. Often times I rewatch movies and enjoy them more later. I will recommend this one as it is clean and sweet to watch. Both of these actors are funny and I think do comedy best. However this story is a bit bittersweet. Enjoy!

I purchased this film because I had seen the lead actors in other Hallmark Christmas movies that I liked. I also like movies with unique settings, especially Christmas scenery that is not all snow. There is some snow in "A Godwink Christmas" but viewers also earn a free trip to Martha's Vineyard & New England. I was intrigued but not totally smitten by the film the first time I watched it, but now I watch it often. Kathy Lee Gifford is a charming narrator and supporting actress. This trip is worth the price of travel. This is also a great family film because part of the secondary plot is community service plus the craft of making Christmas ornaments out of found materials that cost nothing and save the environment. It is a "green" film and parents and children can engage in post-viewing chat about the crucial importance of communities bonding and helping one another.

I love that there is no bad language to detract from the storyline, as so many movies do these days.

Hallmark movies are the best feel good movies

Did I mention that "The Hallmark Christmas movies are WONDERFUL!"?I have bought, and continue to, so many in the series that I had to put them in storage cases that hold, at least,six discs because I ran out of space in my Christmas-genre shelf. These movies are, consistently, ENTERTAININGwith seasonal themes that tend toward romance-themes.I've had to switch to cases that hold 8 discs!I think I'm HOOKED on these Christmas movies.One but has to look to notice I actually BUY the movies I speak of.

Although it is a very good movie, and I'm glad I bought it, the one that I had seen on TV and wanted, was a Godwink Christmas (meant for love), which I don't think has been released yet. I believe this series will all be good, this one definately was.

As a fan of both Paul Campbell and Kmberley Sustad the "A GodWink Christmas" DVD was delightful - another really enjoyable DVD from Hallmark ... Gina
