The light itself is fine. The variable brightness and shade of the light is good. The fact that it has actual buttons instead of the touch sensors the last one I bought had makes it much more useful in the dark. However, the blue light that displays by the buttons when it's plugged in is a terrible idea.I've seen the seller respond to other posts complaining about this saying that it's to help you find the switch in the dark... but the switch is not hard to find in the dark. And when it's dark, that's because people want there to be no light, so they can sleep.I was unable to find a suitable clip-on reading light that had buttons but no light, so I went with this, thinking I could cover up the LED. Unfortunately, it isn't as simple as that. The LED is inside the box that contains the buttons and glows *through* the plastic - quite brightly! However, following a suggestion from another review, I was able to pry open the box and stick some blu-tack over the LEDs. This seems to have solved the issue, and is thankfully quite easy to do.So... this is quite a good lamp, as long as you're willing to pry it open and cover up the unwanted night-light. (Obvs take suitable precautions if you do this, don't do it plugged in etc., be careful not to damage it, and bear in mind you won't be able to return it if you do this.)

Bright with surprisingly wide light angle. Clip is very useful and cable is acceptable length. BUT the stem/neck holding the light isn't rigid enough to hold the light in place...always droops down which can get annoying

Great lamp for crafting or reading. Flexible so can be positioned to wherever the light is best needed. Light can be dimmed so can even be used as a night light.

I liked the selection of different lighting colour modes and brightness . But You can only attach the light safely to objects of maximum 2.5 centimetres , so I exchanged it for a flexi ring light with a much stronger and bigger clip with 5 centimetre jaw .

Not a powerful light enough to read by.

Good strong product. Provides concentrated light for reading without disturbing others.

The flexible neck is not robust enough and sags in use.
