Longer than I expected.
Man, these things are long. I bought them to string through some bushes…didn’t realize how long they would be.

I love them
The media could not be loaded. I do love them! They charged really fast, they're bright and last long. They were simple to unravel. My only complaint is that they're far more blue than purple. I wouldn't really say they're purple, really.

Beautiful but fragile
I have tried several different fairy light strings. These are exceptionally pretty, and with the larger solar panels, they stay on longer than my others. However, the silver wiring they are strung on is very delicate so you have to be very careful. One was already broken when I opened the box, so this was frustrating as it was not a simple matter of twisting the wires back together. The end that connects to the solar panel is covered cord, and then it goes through some little plastic gismo where it is glued in and then the plain silver wire with the lights on it continues out the of this little plastic piece. I suppose that was intended to strengthen it, but in this case one of the silver wires was broken just above this plastic piece. So in order to have any hope of reconnecting the wire, I had to take that thing off. Then, twisting the wires back together with this silver cord doesn't seem to work very well to conduct, so I found a little steel screw and wrapped the broken ends around that and thus was able to get them to work again. I didn't want to send them back if I could get them to work because one, that is a nuisance, and two, I wanted them in my yard for Christmas and if I returned them and waited for a replacement that would really diminish the time I am able to have them up. The other thing I found somewhat annoying is the cord was wound on the card backwards. These are 72 foot, so the cord is long and easily tangled. For easiest installation like wrapping around a tree, you want to be able to stick the stake with the solar panel in the ground and then wind upwards as you wrap around the tree. These were wrapped opposite so you could only unwind the free end from the card, which means if you start that way, you are going to have to push the large solar panel through with each wrap as well. That is very awkward and adds to the strain on the already delicate wire. So the only solution for this was to unwrap the entire 72' cord on each of the two light strings, and rewrap the other direction so I could install without getting all tangled up and risk breaking the cord again. So, that was annoying. But once installed, if you are able to get them wrapped without the cord breaking, the lights are beautiful and perform very well. Since the cord is fragile, they probably won't stand up very well to being moved very much, but if you are going to just put them up and leave them it might be ok. Otherwise I would have given them 5 stars.

Might be good, might be bad
1 string still working but 1 quit after 2 months. Finally took it apart to see what happened and water got in it! Rusted battery lines. Too late to return..........

Hit and miss
Generally decent, bright and reliable. But one of the four sets I bought stopped working after around 5 weeks. So a bit hit and miss with 25% failure rate
