Small, versatile, handy!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Works great for moving files between laptop/Macbook and Android phones/devices, no need for special apps. The one downside, it gets hot after longer usage. This is very handy to copy photos from an android phone and then connect the drive to computer, TV for viewing.

Arrived with "fingerprints" so wonder about quality
At first I thought there was some kind of problem with the metal coating but noticed it was actually fingerprints in some sort of whitish stuff (see uploaded pic). Fingerprints didn't remove all that easily with water so I dampened a cotton swab with a drop or two of alcohol, wiped it and then dried with other end of swab. Most of it came off. I'm not an expert but I think electronics manufacture should be "clean" so those fingerprints make me question the quality/durability of what I received plus authenticity as someone felt they got a "fake" drive. I am using android (Samsung 9+) and PC (Dell XPS) and I can say it did seem to work fine so far so I'm not returning it. The User Manual just says you can do hotplugging, it's plug and play, and the capacity will be less than what's stated because the system files will take up some drive space (uploaded picture). It was indeed plug & play for me with my electronics.PROS: comes in nice metal box with foam inserts for storage. Has a key chain attachment if you wish to use it. Transfer of files was fairly quick and it seems to work well so far. Small size and cut out that allows you to attach it to something like a key chain. Worked fine with laptop and Android smartphone. It was plug & play and I didn't have any problems. USB C and USB 3.0 plugs allow for more connection options to devices.CONS: Gets hot in use/plugged in but not burning flesh hot so I guess it's okay. Not sure about manufacture quality & authenticity due to fingerprints on drive and also wonder how this may affect durability. Ends are not "covered" so dust and whatever else could eventually migrate in.

Limited and Hot
I will most likely be returning this item for 2 reasons.I purchased this to transfer videos from one device to the other. It turns out that this item is only compatible for the standard FAT32 format which cannot transfer file sizes from 4gb and up. If the format is changed to allow for larger files, it only works on Windows. The second reason I will most likely return this item is that it gets "too" hot.I understand that it is metal and this helps dissipate the heat, but when you burn yourself after attempting to take out the thumb drive after only 5 minutes of transferring? Your advertisement that this heat is "normal" is just a lazy excuse for a poorly made product.I was skeptical about purchasing this in the first place, but I thought I'd trust the reviewers... Unfortunately, I did not have the same experience as others.

review: USB C Flash Drive, EIVOTOR Memory Stick 128GB OTG USB 3.0+
I needed this since I got a Pixel phone, which it turns out are just iPhones that run android. Yes, that's a slam. And I was too dumb to notice that when I was shopping. And yes, that's a self-slam. Anyway, since no uSD card in a pixel, i needed some large storage for photos and videos, and I got this. It does the job, hasn't died yet, and works well on both interfaces. I use both often since I move files onto the USB stick, then take it out of the phone and pop it into my laptop. Sometimes it's wicked slow, especially when I first started using it, and still occasionally. Also sometimes it gets quite warm, almost hot, which I suspect means that it uses a bunch of power, but I haven't seen any noticeable power drain on my battery.

Very slow drive for me
This drive was extremely slow for me, when used with my MacBook Pro. Compared to other USB drives it takes a long time to copy files to and from it and after the files are saved and you reinsert the drive, it takes almost 60 seconds to read and display the files and folders. Then even more waiting when you click on subfolders. It also gets extremely hot during use.

Slow write speeds
Positives: It's nicely designed and a key ring is included if you wish to use one.Negatives: The write speed (writing to USB) is very slow in my testing (three-fold slower than a another mode I bought at same time for about the same price. If you are transferring large amounts of data this will be an issue you should think about.

Not compatible
I love the concept of this but it never worked with my technology. No matter how I tried I could not get it to work. I would return it if it’s not too late. I would not buy this again!

Super Slow...
Extremely slow for a USB 3.0. Took me 15 minutes (I checked the time) to transfer 2.2gb of data. That's 2.2 mb/s for reference. Basically way slower than your average USB 2.0 and I was using a 3.0 port on my laptop. Though the design is nice, I wouldn't recommend because of the awfully slow speed.
