Bill, although the HD Drill Guide will fit into your K4 Base, the HD Drill Bit will not fit into your K4 Drill Guide. I believe the K4 Bit & Guide are 3/8", whereas the HD Bit & Guide are 1/2"; but the exact diameters would have to be confirmed. I hope this helps, Greg.
