I've installed base molding and quarter round in our house many many times and each time I had to go from the garage and back to cut the trim pieces. It was both annoying and tiring after a while. This little genius tool has made the quarter round process incredibly easy, accurate and darn near pleasurable. haha!I'm really happy with it's performance as it cuts very well and with precision to the point that I don't need a measuring tape most of the time. I can just mark the length with the piece right in place and make the cut in seconds. It' has very sturdy construction and appears to be a tool that I'll be using for years to come. I highly recommend.

Bought this for my boyfriend who does flooring and cuts a lot of quarter round with a saw, that is usually outside. He said it cuts like butter and when you get a tool that works like it's supposed to you wonder where it's been all your life. Made me feel good that he likes it so much and sounds like it's going to save him a ton of time.

Great product, only problem I had is getting a flush 90 degree cut.

Slices through soft wood shoe moulding with ease.Not very good on plastic trim however

These work pretty well on PVC and MDF, but when they are used for finger jointed or clear pine shoe mold or quarter round, the cut is not precise in the vertical plane. In other words, the angle is essentially 45 degrees, but the cut is not "plumb". The cut migrates off line and this results in a gap between the two mitered pieces when joined. The bottom edges meet before the top edges meet.... certainly caulkable but imprecise. If you're going to caulk, have at it and it's a huge time saver. For precise work, or any stain grade, best to use a saw. That being said, if you cope your inside corners, it's not a problem, but it just isn't precise enough for outside corners with pine. I haven't tried them with red oak trim but I imagine it would be tough...from a quality standpoint, they are a great tool for the money, especially considering you get two spare blades with them. All in all, I'd get them to have in my trim box.

While we aren’t professionals by any means, these helped us finish re-flooring our home and complete the finishing touches. Love that it comes with extra blades.

I make wall art and wanted to make some miniature versions and these cutters are perfect for that. They’re surprisingly strong and the blades are super sharp, plus you get a spare pair in the pack. Easy to use, good grip on the handle and even my boyfriend was quite impressed.
