Manufacturer defective DO NOT BUY
Defective. The bowl and tank don’t align so they can’t sit properly and water line can’t get thru. I ordered 2 of these to replace my old toilets and both of the new ones are the same issue. Tried calling American standard and onhold for a long time and they weren’t helpful. I couldn’t spend more time with them as I was desperate and rather spend time with my plumber and went to Home Depot to find parts to see if we can make them work. Stuck with removed toilets and issues with new toilets and plumber spent so many extra hours and cost :(

Glenwall Model. Appearance.
Flushing is great. It flushes on two levels. Appearance is modern. Convenience height is good. My Plummer received it directly so as to avoid damages in delivery. Installation by professional in 35-40 minutes. Very pleased.

Good Flush
Sits 3 -4 inches higher than the toilet it replaced - but still comfortable and very sturdy. Fit on the 45 year old attachment hardware without any modification.

Great toilet to replace older American Standard Wall-hung toilets from 70s 80s ...
If you need to replace an older wall-hung American Standard toilet due to outdated colors (green, blue, pink, ...) and / or flushing performance ... this toilet is the answer.Up to last year one could buy the expensive Glenwall pressure assist that is rather loud and comes reportedly with its set of mechanical issues. That model has been discontinued and replaced with this Glenwall Vormax model ... and it is a great toilet! No issues with flushing performance. While you don't see the modern dual buttons between small or big flush; it's dual internal flappers allow you to flush a little, intermediate or a lot depending how you operate the flush lever. While it is a great flushing toilet, and is something we'd love to have had for years already; I'm not giving five stars. In concept the install is very simple ( turn water off, flush and empty water from old toilet, disconnect everything, install new toilet, connect everything ) there are a couple hurdles you may face. The good news is: replacing a wall hung toilet is actually pretty simple. This was my first one. Any handy person with a bit of strength to lift and move the porcelain can do it.You will need a new neoprene gasket. This is the factory recommended one, confirmed by phone by ZURN:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077QPHPH9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1Possible technical hurdles:Installing the base- the new base is bigger / extends further down than our old toilet, to the toilet had to be placed on the bolts, held, traced as good as possible, then the baseboard cut back with a rotary tool and or oscillating saw (ideally would would remove the baseboard and just hand trim the baseboard with a coping saw, but between long nails in the wall and a new floor added, the only option was to cut in place)- bolt spacing needs to be near exact, our bolts were slightly out of spec, farther apart width wise, no issue for the old toilet but the new toilet would not fit on ( corrected by opening the wall, making adjustments ...)- bolt length for us turned out to only 2" forward from the wall, which was fine for the old toilet, but with the new toilet specs state 2 1/4 inch at least ... I could only make one turn on the threads without the new gasket ... once the new gasket is added the toilet, the nuts will not grab ... solution: these extended nuts that have a threaded flange that goes inside the mounting holes [ another reason the bolt spacing needs to be pretty exact ] https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009GPXRXC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1- bolt tightening, they only need to be hand tight, but between the weight of the toilet, having to compress the brand new seal and getting the toilet up towards the wall, a 1" wrench is needed. No biggie for the upper bolts that have plenty of space. But there's no way for a 8-10-12" adjustable wrench 's jaws to grab and rotate the nut enough. Tried a 1" ratchet wrench ... not enough clearance to the S curve for the head of the wrench. So, I bought this 6" Stanley wrench that has an extra wide jaw opening at the local store.https://www.amazon.com/Stanley-90-947-6-Inch-MaxSteel-Adjustable/dp/B000NIK9S2/ref=sr_1_23?keywords=6%22+adjustable+wrench&qid=1563973374&s=gateway&sr=8-23Installing the tankThere is a reason AS states to put the hose on first ...- the filler pipe hole in the tank and the pass through hole in the base do NOT line up. They're offset a fair bit.> If you have a hose with a hex nut, install and you'll be OK.> If you have a newer model hose with plastic screw head and three elongated tabs to make tightening easier ... you have to cut the long tab facing outward left or the tank will not fit.>If you have the newest model hose with a larger ergnomic plastic tightening knob, it will not fit.But again install before you put the tank on, or you will cross thread the plastic filler pipe, because due to porcelain rims, if you try to adjust or tighten further with a wrench from underneath, you will cross thread if you have a metal hex one.I think that's about it for additional notes, parts, tools. In essence it is really straightforward, just that the tolerances that worked in the 70s, 80s or whenever can come into play; causing some delays for us in terms of adjusting things, waiting for the nuts, running to the store for a small wrench. The flush mechanism needs a little straightening out on the inside, it is all preassembled but got tangled up a little in shipping.Once filled, the toilet empties with a very satisfying gurgle ... regardless of how deep you press the handle. What used to take a long flush with the old tank, and then water makes its way through two dozen holes ... the combination of the high vortex inlet and the lower jet hole ..... magic! Makes you want to flush again :)Finally:Packaging. It came professionally double boxed from the factory, foam & inner box, then foam sealed cushioned all the way around into the large box.Shipping. AMZ used a large appliance, furniture, ... shipping company. (Not USPS, FedEx, UPS)Price wise, I see amazon has jacked up the price by $135.Which does not make me happy, because I need to order one more ...

Defective Product/ Very Bad customer service
I got the bowl mounted and went to put on the tank and found that the water supply line port on the tank did not match up with the cut out on the bowl. They are a half inch off. I called customer service and they told me the only option was sending back the toilet and waiting 7-10 days for a new one, I asked if they could overnight as this is my only toilet and it was there defect and was hung up on.
