This is a multifuction stopwatch
Be ready to spend some time learning about everything this watch will do. The product seems to be well made and works better than expected. It has more weight than I expected but that is not a problem. All in all I think it is a better than average product.

Does what it needs to for me.
The instructions aren't the best but I eventually figured it out. The display is easy to read but the function modes could be setup better.

Great stopwatch
This stopwatch works really well. It fits very ergonomically in the hand and is very accurate.I love the look and a solid hand feel. The timing is accurate and the lap memory on the stopwatch is great and easy to use. That adds a lot of value as it allows for more versatility. You’re able to get the average of different times in a few clicks. This is better than the average stopwatch.

A stopwatch you cannot live with.
I really, really need a dedicated stopwatch, because my old Casio multi-function wristwatch (which included a stopwatch function) finally died. I ordered a replacement, but, to my horror, the face was too dim to read. What the heck? I went back and read user reviews, which I should have done first. Several other buyers reported this - it's not just me. Casio actually made a watch that you can't read without a magnifying glass. I returned it. Then I ordered a different Casio, called "G-Shock". It works, but the reset button is depressed, and it's really difficult to operate the stopwatch mode. You can easily start and stop the stopwatch, but it's really hard to reset it, because of that depressed button. The local watch repair guy refused to try to fix it, saying "It's better to just leave it alone, because once you open it up you may never be able to use it again". So I kept it, but I'm not using the stopwatch function. I decided to buy a DEDICATED stopwatch. This one -- the one I'm reviewing now -- was twice as expensive as most of the other dedicated stopwatches on Amazon, but I loved the look, and I bought it. When I took it out of the box, it was in a stopwatch mode. In this mode the days of the week -- all of them -- Mon-Tue-Wed-Thu-Fri-Sat-Sun, are displayed left-to-right across the large clock face. I have no idea why, since it serves no obvious purpose. For some unfathomable reason, Monday and Sunday are blinking. It's really, really annoying. I figured there would be a way to turn the blink off. But the manual is written in pigeon English, and is almost incomprehensible. I really wanted this watch to work, so I forced myself to slowly and carefully read the manual. But there's no way to stop the blink. If I had to stare at that blink for the rest of my life, I'd have epileptic fits. Then I thought "Maybe the stopwatch is telling me that I have to set the time and date first, before using it, then maybe the blinking will stop". Maybe. But I'll never know, because you CANNOT set the time and date. When I tried, it happened to be 5:10 PM, and I set the watch for that time, but when I exited that mode, the watch read 5:40, not 5:10. What the heck? I tried to re-enter time setting mode, but for no obvious reason it no longer responded to time-setting commands. I re-read the manual, thinking maybe I had forgotten the instructions, and was doing it wrong. Not the case. This stopwatch is just buggy, buggy, buggy. If this is what the designer of this watch intended the watch to be, then I'd opine that he's out of his mind. I suppose maybe this particular watch is defective, but don't forget - this is my 3rd consecutive watch purchase, and all 3 were defective. What kind of a world has this become?

Nice stopwatch, but display is not bright
This is a very nice and heavy stopwatch. The housing is chrome metal, feels like good quality. Buttons are easy to use and clearly marked for their functions. It's not a big deal for me, but the backlight for the display is not the bright green shown in the pictures. In a very dark room, I suppose it is enough to see the numbers, but it is a low contrast and not as apparent as the listing's pictures make it seem.

Too many functions, confusing to use
I bought this for a RC glider competition. It does what is is supposed to do, but it is very confusing to use and, as I use it very occasionally, I have to go back to the manual to even switch it on or off. In my opinion, it has too many unnecessary functions and too few buttons to push, so it is not evident how to use it. Now, a chronometer should be an intuitive and easy tool, but this one is not.

Hubby loves this!
Got this for my husband for work. He didn’t like carrying around the plastic ones very nice. He really likes it a lot very heavy. Feels well-made and works great never an issue. Would recommend this to anybody who doesn’t want a cheap feeling timer.
